This is a disaster, literally worst looking game of 2025 and all that with 2006 graphics and 25 fps on low on RTX5090. Kind of boring overall abysmal main story and side quests that feel like a chore. Gameplay is monotone and repetitive. Outer worlds 1 was terrible i was surprised that they decided to make a sequel.

This game is BS and I'm done. I failed near Act 2 by running out of time. I HATE TIMERS. I've gone back multiple days multiple times and it simply won't let me proceed. I've completed every task available. The only thing left is "Gather enough organics to power the engines and move the base"...Well, I'm sitting on OVER the amount needed to power the engines and move the base but it won't recognize it. The time limit in this game is just so infuriating. Things break constantly. People want to talk constantly. Food runs out constantly. Filters run out constantly. It's F'n insane. I've never in my life played a survival game with a more time limit or where supplies run out and break as easy as this game. Stop adding time limits to your games i am not interested to play a racing game against time

Only recommended if you care about co-op with friends. Solo is dreadful and artificial intelligence is very bad even with a story the gameplay from the Solo perspective is mess. Friendlies don't know how to shoot their targets the AI is busted and sometimes your squad is damaging your own mech with their fire instead of hitting their enemies that's how bad they are. Solo is bad

Uninspiring and ridiculous RTS made with Unreal Engine 5 a total let down so far. Overrated by the "modern audience" and immature GenZ gamers. Most old school RTS fans that i asked say the game is MEH and recommend me to try to play something else to pass my time. Where to start unit compositions are weak, anyone who expects something even close to a balanced, stone-paper-scissor mechanism fraction setup will be disappointed. All units in their foundation work similar from my experience they added some abilities to units but all abilities require micromanagement this is a Real time strategy game and not turn based having to micromanage your abilities in real time and without a pause button is an atrocious experience. C&C has never been on a StarCraft level of unit variability, but this is so poor even compared to any past C&C titles. And please forget the campaign all mission scenarios and the story is written for teenagers do not expect any meaningful mature experience here. Game is like eating at McDonalds and the experience feels soulless to me. This looks to me as if was made by Chatbot AI that someone instructed by saying: "Hey Chatbot try to make me a 2025 Command and Conquer clone, but make it interchangeable add way more science fiction mumbo-jumbo and please do NOT add tactics in the gameplay" Very disappointing.

Boring, confusing and overall disappointing plus extremely demanding. UI panel is a mess without any explanation of how gameplay elements work the game leaves you to make a guess. Too many stupid texts to read blah blah do this blah blah blah do that. Many crazy factions appear suddenly always have demands and you have to appease them or else they cause trouble. Too many unnecessary research for mostly useless things. Game feels like a chore i can't recommend

Sorry but this sequel is TRASH and feels hollow. One of the defining features of the series was it's living world. NPC's would wander around, fight over territory, and have their own radio chatter about local events. In this sequel everything is gone now, and replaced with a generic spawning system. As an example, I cleared a camp of enemies, looted it, walked a few feet outside of it, and enemies immediately spawned back in, shooting at me. Another example, a friendly group spawned in, helped me fight a mutant, I turned away to open a stash, turned back around, and they were gone. There also doesn't seem to be any faction relations, or even randomly generated jobs for other stalkers. The stealth in this game is a joke, with enemies being able to see you through walls and foliage with X-ray perception, and once they do spot you, they will always know where you are even if you break line of sight. The game, like the older games, warns you to lower your weapon around other stalkers, except in this one, they don't actually care. Equipment wears out incredibly easy, and is very expensive to repair (at least in the early game). For example, I got in 2 gunfights and had to drop 2000-ish to fix up my gun.None of this even touches on the bugs, granted, outside of crashes here and there, there hasn't been anything gamebreaking that i've ran into. Just a lot of npc's phasing through floors or levitating, and the combat AI performing some questionable tactics. The optimization is bad but it's UE5 so nobody is shocked. I hope that one day this game lives up to it's name, but right now, it falls incredibly short in what made the series unique in the first place. Hopefully the issues with the game are fixable, either by mods or the devs making changes. But in it's current state, I can't recommend it.
