I liked the gameplay loop, however i can see a lot of people get bored by it very quickly You have to literally control individual leg to move the ST, very fun. Easily my favourite part The ST doesnt have any gun on the back so its very frustating that you have to step on the enemy on your back and you cant shoot the or run away from them. Not very frustating on early game, however on late game because of enemy mass its become frustating. The other encounter is pretty fun tho The ending **** tho, felt like cliffhanger more than anything 6/10

From the developer of pokemon mystery dungeon (i found this game from the pmd community) Very hard tactical gameplay. You always be out numbered, out geared but not outwitted. You usually start in level 1 on most dungeon, however some dungeon allow you to bring your own equipment to help you. However if you die, you lose all your item and making dying very punishing, but also always giving you a choice to keep going or escape from the dungeon A lot of end game dungeon dont allow you to bring item so you need to rely on RNG equipment drop to keep up with the enemy Very unique tactical gameplay 8/10

Im not too big a fan of open world game, but this game really change my mind about it. Every area have a unique distinguished feature, with atmosphere and sound that is very fleshed out The sound design is definitely the main feature here, you can tell where you are from the enemy sound or if you being chased by something terrible There is no map in the game so you have to either memorize the place or just use beacon, however memorizing the map is not that hard after putting few beacon for landmark because of the unique flora and fauna in every area. 10/10 not recommended if you have a fear of the ocean

Very fun and can be short adventure. Alot of replayability with new mech and even achievement for every team, since you are a time traveler saving every possible timeline. Good personality for pilot Pretty difficult if you rush in and dont take your time 9/10 Great if you like one of those kaiju battle to protect the city

Bought it from epic because im reading a buggy experience in steam. However in this version theres a bug where cutscene will just be black screen, cant find any fix anywhere so i just watched the cutscene on youtube, kinda ruin the experience for me. first of all, for an indie game : - This game have a pretty high quality ost (doesnt sound like midi) - Most of the dialogue is actually voice acted so this game definitely have big budget going in. so let me put the list of pro and cons pro : - Amazing breathtaking cutscene (however its ruined for me because in my game cutscene is just black screen) - Good art style - A lot of the VA is pretty good (im talking about cristopher, zas, kari hudo, etc). mostly main character tho, the rest is questionable - Neat mechanic, you can see the city from different perspective either past, present and future and you can change the future - Ost for city is banger, make sense since you be hearing that a lot with the amount of backtracking - Multiple ending depending if you do sidequest or not - The story is good at the start but then going downhill, however it pickup on the endgame - Choice actually matter (spoiler : only if you do all the sidequest lmao) - Combat is ok i guess for some character - There is free dlc, however it barely added any content to the game - I like the story cons : - Random mobs encounter in dungeon, you can counter this using ring, but its a late game item - The game is a bit stretched and quite a lot of backtracking - The story got boring in the middle - A lot of character is really underfleshed - Main character VA is questionable (yes im talking about willhelm) - some character have a pretty shallow combat mechanic - most overworld puzzle is boring - most sidequest is overglorified fetchquest - dungeon music is ok, not memorable - overworld is a bit empty, not the city tho Finished all achievement in 45 hours, but of course only 3 of my achievement register because another bug. 8/10

If i played this game in 2017 this would be my GOTY, and might also be my favourite game of all time tied with ori WotW. Its embarassing honestly i just found this game. As a product : this game price is criminally low, with 20+ hour gameplay and i already clocked in 100 hour lol, team cherry decided to sweeten the deal with 4 free dlc that bring the completionist time up to 100 hour. i literally just robbed the dev and im feeling bad about it As a game : this game revolutionized metroidvania, the gameplay is amazing with cool mechanic like pogo jump on enemies and hazard. there is over 150 type of unique enemy in the game, and that not counting bosses that each have their own unique mechanic. the story is more less environmental story telling so expect to watch mossbag youtube for your lore needs.

My 2020 GOTY, and probably my all time favourite game too (tied with hollow knight). This game is the peak of metroidvania genre, exploration is amazing with every area so distinct (you can literally give small screenshot of the game and i can tell which region you are at), the combat is great, the platforming is godly, artstyle is somehow even better than the last game, music is amazing (specially the chase music), story is also great, control is so fluid and responsive that some people start complaining about it being too slippery. The best sequel that fixes every issue with the last game.

really good game, cool mechanic, great graphic, amazing story. my only problem is that its sometimes just rushing down your enemy as fast as possible instead of making strategic moves because of the rank system. havent played the dlc tho my only complain is that for some reason in run really bad on my device, this is very true on some map with barely powerpoint fps, funny enough if you played "too long" the game will become more laggy for every stage you play. i would have give this 9/10 but this really let me down so hard

Graphic wise this change little to nothing, they cant even do the estus icon right like ds3. Honestly i would just play the original prepare to die edition, and then they deleted it from the store. They only thing they did right is that blighttown no longer become powerpoint presentation.

A stylish pixelated platformer that is easy to learn but hard to master, control is very responsive and good story. you will died a lot tho, and no shame in that. The best part is there almost zero second death screen, making it very unpunishing. The free DLC is almost only for hardcore player and speedrunner, so dont pull your hair out if you cant beat it, just have fun. but also dont give up

Artstyle is very distinct and still holds up to this day despite being a 2015 game. combat is a bit lackluster (lack of bosses variety), however the platforming is top notch, the game even have this escape sequence platforming that is very awesome and mindblowing. movement also very fluid (some people say a bit too fluid, but i disagree, this gave the character more agile feels) One of the OG masterpiece metroidvania, if you wanna play the sequel play this one first (mandatory, but gives you more connection to the character)
