The series is ultimately rocket-fueled by the intoxicating, larger than life personalities and performances of Leto and Hathaway.

The Guardian
It’s a wonderful and deeply enjoyable tale of rags to riches to (relative) rags, but it panders to the viewer’s schadenfreude instead of offering anything meatier, or any wider perspective or criticism.

"WeCrashed" (single season, 8-eps, 50-60 mins, Apple) is a fine docudrama of the rise and fall WeWork and its charismatic CEO Adam Neumann and muse of a wife Rebekah Paltrow, yes, Gwen's cousin, of which you're reminded in almost every episode. The production values and direction are first rate, giving you real insight into Adam and Rebekah's motivations and how they become the "never take no" engines of WeWork's rapid yet money-losing growth. The series finale is interesting/fascinating but doesn't quite jibe with how events finally played out if you follow through with Wikipedia. You'll appreciate this series more if you watch it shortly after completing "Super Pumped" so you can juxtapose the over-the-top leadership of Uber's Travis Kalanick with Adam's crazy leadership. Both were forces of nature.

So, yes, you’ll have fun watching WeCrashed, even if the rhythms of the story are a little cliched.

Leto and Hathway are far more dominant than the holes poked in their subjects, and their performances more enjoyable than their characters are contemptible. Perhaps it’s easier to wonder at Neumann than be reminded of his sins, but that’s hardly an impression warranting another visit.

It treads familiar ground to other rise-and-fall cautionary tales, and somewhat lacks a point of view — but WeCrashed is still farcically entertaining, buoyed by Jared Leto’s electric performance as Adam Neumann.

At its best, this painfully uninspired WeWork redux is a redundant, montage-heavy account of facts told more completely elsewhere. At its worst, WeCrashed is a clumsy, ill-advised memorialization of selfish behavior, inexplicably propping up Adam and Rebekah Neumann for yet another dose of outsized attention.

There is little here that is enjoyable to watch and even less that is entertaining, and spending eight hours with the versions of these people portrayed by Jared Leto and Anne Hathaway is a punishment.

Inspiré d'une histoire vrai, le développement de la société we worked est très intéressant à suivre. L'excentricité de son dirigeant et sa personnalité atypique en fin une très bonne série à regarder. Sans doute un des meilleur rôle de Jared Leto.

WeCrashed is a fantastic job for those interested in real life and success stories. The series never loses its excitement and mobility from start to finish. With the contribution of extraordinary actors such as Jared Leto and Anne Hathaway, the series flows until the finale.

For a limited series built on the legacy of works in the likes of "The Wolf of Wall Street" and "The Social Network" that always make you wonder, how?, both [Anne Hathaway and Jared Leto] performances are mesmerising even though it's quite hard to empathize with shameless billionaires.

Not bad. But are there no tall actors? The real Adam Neumann is 2m tall. That's tall, and that physical dominance is such a big part of who he is. I really felt that aspect was missing. Leto did an OK job with the Hebrew accent, but it wasn't quite there. He nailed the consonants, but the vowels weren't quite there.

It's such a bad show. At first, I didn't know if the plot was going to be about worshipping a cult leader or what, because the focus on the main character (horribly acted by Jared Leto) made it seem like the story was glorifying all the actions that clearly demonstrated abuse of power and misuse of resources that didn't belong to him (we're talking millions and millions of dollars).
