Even though Scrubs is the best of the season's new comedies, it may not have the most laughs. But oh mama, it has the most heart. Scrubs is to the average sitcom as a steak at the Palm is to a Big Mac. We are talking an entirely different, and superior, species. [2 Oct 2001, p.C01]

This is the only series i will ever rate with a 10. Characters are very well written, scenes are well done, the blend of humor and drama is spectacular and generally it's the perfect feel-good series. My only issue with this series: it was shot digitally in a time where resolutions were quite low. We will never see an HD version unless someone finds a way to do it via AI.

A ninth season. Wow. In fact, a change of scenery has done Scrubs a world of good. The new students are funny. McGinley is great as always--so, too, is Turk (Donald Faison).

That sincere desire to serve is key. In the wrong hands, Scrubs could have been another mean-spirited juvenile comedy about smart-aleck, self-absorbed, barely post-collegiate yuppies -- which is the impression you may have gotten from NBC's inexplicably unpleasant promos. But Lawrence takes pains to show us that these doctors take their jobs seriously, an essential task accomplished without sacrificing any of the humor. In a sense, the show is a flashback to M*A*S*H, both in its look (Scrubs is shot without an audience) and in the way it blends laughs with life-and-death emotion.
It's a solid little comedy, in which Scrubs fans can recognize the spirit of the show they loved, even if it's not Scrubs at its best.
It's not terrifically awful, but it's also not as reliably fun as Scrubs was in its prime.
The result is a deadly, deal-driven mistake that takes a network that has made great sitcom strides forward one unfortunate step back.

One of my favorite shows ever. It's a bit childish. But that's when I first watched it. The blend of characters and mostly light hearted scenes mixed with really hard hitting life issues is perfect. The first finale is my favorite of any show
