It's not only laugh-out-loud-until-soda-squirts-out-of-your-nose funny, but it's also perfectly cast.

"Psych" is one of those happy collisions of an intelligent script and an appealing cast.

The lighthearted "Psych" charms even as it duplicates the structure and tone of "Monk."

Painless at worst, and mostly better than that.

It feels more like a programming move than a creative endeavor.

Inventive one minute and ploddingly formulaic the next.

A second-rate knockoff of what's not quite a first-rate fabrication itself.

Psych is a great show, it is very funny and quite silly, and at the end of the day, it is a gem of a show. James Roday and Dule Hill are great as Shawn and Gus, who delight in every episode. Corbin Benson and Maggie Lawson were solid too. The scripts are nearly always hilarious, and the story lines original, versatile and intriguing. I also loved the theme song, quite funky and melodious. Many great actors and actresses have made truly memorable appearances on the show, and which one's my favourite? Hard to say, but probably Tim Curry in American Duos, that episode was hilarious, and Tim was priceless as a Simon Cowell-like figure, in the name of Nigel-St-Nigel, withering put downs and all. All in all, a very entertaining show, look out for it! 10/10 Bethany Cox.

One of the funniest shows on television during the early 2010s. I think it's good until a bit later in the series, it gets a bit eh and sometimes repetitive, but once you hit the musicial, its a giant breath of fresh air and you can keep going on until it ends. The movies are good ones to watch after the show too.

This show should have been called "Jerks" instead of "Psych". Mixed bag. I don't get why people are so fond of it. Unlikable characters. Forgettable storylines. Entertaining action though for a bit but not memorable enough to be in the 100 shows that changed showtime.
