Watched when I was young. Many episodes are sitcom gold. I have just started watching the series from the beginning 24 plus years later and I can say without a doubt this sitcom is the best. If you need something to watch because you are bored try this! It’s so good! It has many ideas along the lines of early adulthood with moving out from your parents and getting into relationships. It represents real life with a cast of friends that resonates with possibly your life. It has a lot of 90s nostalgia and it’s awesome and funny. I don’t think people realize that the Big Bang theory was actually trying to emulate this series but this is way better and I love big bang. Watching it again but as an adult I am amazed at how good it is. Ross has some crazy stunts where he fumbles or falls and it’s the funniest thing. Those moments are the best and to know the even greater episodes are coming up ( the one where they play those games and bet the apartment) gives this a true 10/10 I’m not sure why the critics scored it low or the ratio but they’re absolutely wrong I would bet anything! all in . The critic reviews on MC are wrong

Friends comes across like a 30-minute commercial for Dockers or Ikea or light beer, except it's smuttier. One character says he dreamed he had a telephone for a penis and when it rang, "it turns out it's my mother." And this is in the first five minutes...Another ghastly creation from professional panderers Marta Kauffman and David Crane, the witless duo who do "Dream On" for HBO, Friends is more a scripted talk show than a sitcom. You keep waiting for Sally Jessy or some other cluck to interrupt the jabbering. The show is so bad that Sally Jessy would actually come as a relief. [22 Sept 1994, p.D1]

I don’t care if I lose my man card or not. Friends is one of the best shows of all time. Amazing main cast, great story lines, and plenty of humor without overdoing the punchlines like so many sitcoms do today.

I really didn't laugh at all and I watched the series tightly until it ended. I was forced to watch it until the end. Out of respect, I give 6 points

How this show is so popular? I have no idea. Mindnumbingly stupid jokes, incredibly boring characters, and nothing worth mentioning in terms of merit. I guess if you're not a native English speaker it can be a good way to learn English but other than that I wouldn't recommend this show to my worst enemy.
