Chicago Fire definitely has familiarity going for it and familiarity going against it as well.

This seems like a serviceable drama that merits a bit better ladder grade (heh-heh) for an improved second hour.

I love this show! Through all the changes of cast members and deaths on the show the members of firehouse 51 have remained a family. I enjoy watching them change and grow as people and firefighters.

Chicago fire is definitely my favourite show. There is a lot of suspense in between all the shows. There are also a lot of intense moments

Everyone here, including "Oz's" Eamonn Walker as the battalion chief, is working from the same medium-grim setting, with medium-grim dialogue, which quickly drags the story and action into the still-smoldering ruins of other fire-and-rescue dramas.

It's a bad omen when the show repeats one of its catastrophes next week, just amped to a grislier level. I was bored.

It's not that the show is terrible--it's not--but it brings nothing new to the firefighter drama format.

Chicago Fire isn't half bad when the fires and other crises take over as the star of the show. It's after the smoke clears and the stories kick back in that you begin to realize the only way to salvage these sorry stereotypes in uniform is to burn them the only way we know how.

This just doesn't work on any level and creates very little suspense, even in life-or-death situations.

A watchable series, specially after a long day of work when you want mind numbing content to watch. Characters are pretty generic but mildy likable. This is one of those shows you continue to watch simply to find out if anything interesting actually happens to them. (SPOILERS: nothing ever does). This is a very standard series that should only be watched if you have a deficit of other content to emmerse yourself in.

The Stella Kidd character is awful. Now they have goofy Stella Kidd tying down Kelly, making him a boring character. Rest of the show has become boring as there is less action and more romantic "in house" relationships. Just another SOAP OPERA.

It’s hard to believe that the producer behind the legendary SVU show is responsible for this absolute drivel. With its abysmal acting, unlikeable characters, low budget production value, and all-round sloppy script writing, it’s genuinely amazing this show wasn’t canned after the first season and has somehow made it to 14 seasons of pure unadulterated garbage. If you have zero taste and a ton of time to waste, this is great to have on in the background while you scroll on your phone.

They should've never taken Shay off the show, but it's still one of my favorite's. I read they had trouble with who to kill off, but Monica would've been my choice. Most of the time she's just a b**ch. If they had given her time, she could have slept with all the firefighters in the house.
