Toy Story fully understands the limitless potential of childish fantasy, and the computer animation style fashions dreams into a glossy, fantastic reality. [24 nov 1995, p.3]

When a genius like Lasseter sits at his computer, the machine becomes just a more supple paintbrush. Like the creatures in this wonderful zoo of a movie, it's alive!

I watched Toy Story when I was a kid, and even now it feels like one of those rare movies that never loses its charm. Everything about it — the characters, the humor, the little emotional beats — still works perfectly. It’s simple in the best way, the kind of storytelling that sneaks up on you without trying to be flashy. What stuck with me most is how alive the toys feel. Woody’s stubborn loyalty, Buzz’s confidence, the whole crew just bouncing off each other… it makes the world feel warm in a way a lot of newer animated films can’t quite capture. The pacing is tight, the jokes still land, and that sense of wonder hits just like it did when I was **** me it’ll always be a 10/10 — a genuine classic that stays beautiful no matter how old you get.

Although its computer-generated imagery is impressive, the major surprise of this bright foray into a new kind of animation is how much cleverness has been invested in story and dialogue.

The film will intoxicate children and charm the parents in their company.

Disney's unrivaled ability to wed emotional depth to high-tech razzle-dazzle endows Toy Story with its authentic heart and soul. [24 Nov 1995, p.L28]

The computer-generated effects are a marvel. It's something of a bonus that the characters, dialogue, and story provide entertainment value of their own.

The first all computer-animated feature, which brings a bedroom of playthings to bouncy life, is yummy eye candy spiked with 3-D-style tactile treats.

The first Toy Story movie is my ULTIMATE childhood. I freaking LOVE this movie. I used to watch it non-stop on DVD when I was seven. Along with two of my other favorites: Cars & Monsters INC. Toy Story is by far my favorite Disney Movie of ALL TIME. (Even though I think The Lego Movie is better.)

Küçüklüğümde TV de yayınlanırdı. Ey gidi günler... İlk defa izleyecekler garipseyebilirler ama aile ile izlenebilecek güzel bir film. Tavsiye ederim.

Pixar have started creating witty animations since the 80s, but their collaboration with Disney has not paid up for the popularity and liking of Disney's previous movies.

A grating story filled with profoundly idiotic decisions. Toy Story is overhyped all for just different yet outdated animation.
