That this claustrophobic sci-fi thriller quickly won me over with its early David Cronenberg inspirations only allowed my excitement to increase with each passing minute as I found myself unable to detach from its captivatingly dark, timely pandemic mystery.

There are elements of classic science fiction here, yes. But Tin Can is more like a tone poem about humankind’s inherent frailties.

What at first lures you in with a scifi premise, soon begins to haunt you with themes of isolation and deep-rooted terror. The body horror will make your skin crawl, the score and visuals will enrich the experience, but the most unshakeable part of Tin Can is the lingering discomfort it'll leave you with. Check it out if you're at all interested, the experience is worth it.
