If you can tell the difference between a mule and a pump, attendance at The Devil Wears Prada is mandatory. You might have to reach back to "Funny Face" to find a fashion movie so on-trend.

The Devil Wears Prada es de esas películas donde siempre queda la duda abierta: quién es realmente el villano, hasta dónde llegan los límites del trabajo y los derechos laborales. Todo eso ya se ha discutido mil veces, y aun así la película sigue funcionando perfecto. Es un 10/10. Y solo agregaría esto: si de verdad te encanta el cine, tienes que verla. Está llena de decisiones visuales brillantes: desde la presentación de Miranda, la icónica mirada de arriba abajo a Andy (ya meme eterno), hasta cómo la cámara sigue a Christian como un depredador, girando a su alrededor con una intención clarísima. Meryl Streep is indeed poised and imperious as Miranda, and Anne Hathaway is a great beauty who makes a convincing career girl. I liked Stanley Tucci, too, as Nigel... But I thought the movie should have reversed the roles played by Grenier and Baker. Grenier comes across not like the old boyfriend but like the slick New York writer, and Baker seems the embodiment of Midwestern sincerity.

If you shut down your brain and simply take in the wardrobe and performances by Streep and Blunt you'll have a swell time, like aimlessly flipping the pages of a fashion magazine.

Meryl Streep continues proving that she can do everything. Her work as Miranda Presley is impecable. The movie is not the best film of the year, that´s clear, but is a good film, enjoyable, to watch with friends that complain about their jobs. You can watches 200 times and never get bored

The title doesn't lie – Miranda Priestly is the devil. And Meryl Streep plays it – as always – devilishly well. It's just a shame that all the conflicts in Andy's private life and the finale are lame and clichéd. But I'd watch the film again sometime just for the dialogue.

A fine rom-com that still holds its own for the most part to modern audiences. A simple story arch with completely forgettable music and set pieces, but you come back to this for Meryl Streep's ability to take a static role and make it captivating. Stanley Tucci is completely riveting as always, and Anne Hathaway is also in the movie. She has the most screen time, but her character is so dull compared to what's going on around her. I took a breath of fresh air every time a new face entered the screen.

The film felt like i was watching an ABC show on a wednesday night. A typical chick flick with a little taste of fashion. the movie seem to go way off course in the final 30 minutes. Didn't laugh once in this film. disgraceful.
