Portland Oregonian
If you're content to let dream logic take over, a lot can be gleaned from this odd, darkly funny meditation on life, death, love and revenge.

New York Daily News
By the end, you may not know whether you've seen a ghost story or a story of delusional obsession, but you'll have had a great time.

Los Angeles Times
The acting is serviceable and primarily of the stare-until-you're-uncomfortable variety, although Rampling is much more than that: She's a classic screen temptress with the aura of a melancholy spider.

Variety
Spooky, intellectually titillating and darkly funny picture is definitely the kind of film where the less you know going in, the better.

Miami Herald
Holds enough interest throughout to keep you entertained -- unless you're afraid of mice.

The Hollywood Reporter
Lemming does possess a mordant humor as it watches characters spin out of control. But the payoff is slight.

The New York Times
The second half of the movie squanders suspense and momentum, solving its riddles by deflating them.

I watched Lemming, and overall, I liked it more than I didn't. It was tense at times, and occasionally it felt like a dream — or maybe a dog's dream — surreal and slightly off. What worked best for me was the emotional impact. The movie managed to make me feel something, and that’s always a good sign. What didn’t work so well was the symbolism. Some of it just felt too forced or even stupid — but maybe that’s just me.
