"Jerry Maguire" (1996) a great mix of comedy, drama, romance and inspirational tale about finding your true purpose and passion in life. This is a great movie that I always enjoyed since seeing it for the first time in 1997 and since then I watched it multiple times. Screenplay and story by Cameron Crowe were excellent - it's a smart and funny film that just bring smile to my face. Acting was superb by everyone involved. There are great and memorable lines in this film and show my the money isn't even the best - you had me at hello kind of wins the crown for me. Overall, "Jerry Maguire" is a great movie that inspires, at least me. It is superbly paced, acted and directed movie with terrific screenplay and ideas.

"I didn't shoplift the pootie." All the famous lines were good, but this silly one stood out. Just so funny, intentional or unintentioanl, due to Cruise's wild match of mega star power and lack of ability to play drunk or romantic.

Jerry Maguire There are some genuine emotional moments with cliched touch which works for the most part of the movie with the help of some good performances but lacks complete understanding on executing a scene. Jerry Maguire despite of its strong writing material relies totally upon the performances and brings out the best from each and every character. Cameron Crowe still needs some work to do on supervising and executing from paper onto the screen. As mentioned earlier, it is filled with stellar performance by Tom Cruise, Cuba Gooding Jr. and Renee Zellweger. Jerry Maguire starts off slowly as it takes its time to settle on its first act and then boosts up with incredible writing and finishes off majestically.

Yeah, the kid was cute, there was a little bit of humour, but the plot doesn't make much sense. The pacing is just wildly uneven and the plot doesn't make much sense probably because you can't understand whether it's too simple or complicated. Tell me, why did I think this was any good in the first place?
