It's the most tension-producing movie out there right now -- in the best way, it's almost unbearable.

Delivers the kind of vengeance fantasy women unhappy with their husbands may want: Vicarious satisfaction, however clumsily delivered, is better than no satisfaction at all. Just be sure to stop by the lobotomy clinic en route to the theater.

Enough is above all a suspense film.T he theme of domestic violence is very valid, and here, unlike real life, we have a story and not a documentary of real life, with this understanding the film works very well. A successful and totally oppressive husband who believes that because he is a man he can buy and rule everyone including his wife. The only way out that the character finds is to face her aggressor as equals, preparing for this confrontation. And it's beautiful to see the beating at the end;

I thought this movie was really gripping and it surprises me that the critics were so harsh. Jennifer Lopez gives a great performance, probably one of the best of her career.

Boston Globe
Shamelessly exploits the horror of domestic violence for melodramatic, cheap thrills.

Portland Oregonian
Taking the film as a thriller, it's neither exciting nor scary, hampered by a middle that plays much too long.

Seattle Post-Intelligencer
So poorly constructed and so elementally banal that it's a shock the script was written by the same guy (Nicholas Kazan) who wrote such taut thrillers as "At Close Range" and "Reversal of Fortune."

Los Angeles Times
Lacking a real actress, director Michael Apted is called upon to fudge the facts and make Slim's ordeal as taut as possible. He gets the job done, but the suspense scenes have a generic fright-by-numbers feel that tell us he's wearing his professional hat and knows it.

Clumsy, obvious, preposterous, the movie will likely set the cause of woman warriors back decades.

I thought this was a great thriller. Like always, don't watch the trailer first since it gives the whole movie away.

The film has a good suspense. At first, the protagonist is overwhelmed and weak, then fights her way back in the truest sense of the word. Bland aftertaste: The film conveys an evil image of men... the feminists can also admit that not only women have to fight with prejudices.

"Enough" was a bad movie, although the plot is very good, which deals with the subject of intrafamily mistreatment, but I see that it was not handled in a good way, since the performance of Jennifer Lopez was overacted, as was the intrerpretation of the Daughter, I do not like it.

There was some entertainment had here. But this movie suffers from horrible dialogue and rushed setup. When you are supposed to feel bad for Lopez in the beginning, her and her husband are putting out almost cringe inducing dialogue and it was bad enough, but then they had to rush the setup. There is little character development and its pretty hard to feel bad for anyone. but it does get points for solid acting and pretty good action.

JLo is an arrogant and deplorable woman who doesn't know what quality and talent is. His works are hideous and dark.
