You judge a movie by its own standards, right? Bulletproof, starring Damon Wayans and Adam Sandler, is rambunctious, crude, ridiculous, violent and -- incidentally -- very funny.

Bulletproof is a raunchy exercise in macho posturing -- but thanks to a layer of satire, the new action comedy at Bay Area theaters provides a few zingers of lowbrow entertainment.

Really funny. Adam Sandler again just cracks me up. I like the storyline to the movie too. To the Rock and Archie show.

Underrated tbh. This movie is great. The back and forth is really funny. The scene where Adam is singing in the shower is funny.

The whole sorry business is incontrovertible proof that Hollywood learned all the wrong lessons from 48 HRS.: Bring back Nick Nolte and Eddie Murphy, please!

The criminal activity onscreen in “Bulletproof” is penny ante compared with the felonious slaughter of story, character and logic exacted by the pic’s filmmakers.

Bulletproof is both offensive and depressing, from its sociopathic mix of graphic violence and slapstick to its severe career blighting of the once-formidable Ernest Dickerson. [6 Sept 1996, p.3D]

Does the testosterone fly? Not as fast as the potty jokes. Ditto the homophobe jokes zing! zing!

It's too easy to say that only fans of Adam Sandler and Damon Wayans should consider seeing Bulletproof, since it would be excruciating to anyone else. It's also unfair, because those fans would be better served to respectively watch "Happy Gilmore" or "The Last Boy Scout" another time than suffer through this latest - and possibly all-time worst - entry in the buddy-action-comedy genre. [7 Sept 1996, p.2B]

Bulletproof is just a typical Adam Sandler movie, which in terms of a perfomance was alright but it's very entertaining and watchable, yes there is some cringy moment and meh moment, but Bulletproof is still fill with a good comedy, it's funny and entertaining, it's a movie that you just need to enjoyed it.

Bulletproof had a Martin Scorsese if he made comedy movies vibe to it, but it's decent.
