Zoë Kravitz makes a phenomenal debut as director with this heightened, gripping thriller.

By the end, a part of the experience makes one wonder what sharper point Kravitz is trying to make beyond the obvious ones — and it’s clear she wants to say something — while another part simply wants to lean into the audacious experiment she’s crafted. One where the film’s tart bite is remarkably thrilling, even if there’s some hollowness to its center.

Brilliantly written and perfectly cast. Fantastic directorial debut for Zoe Kravitz. Can not recommend enough, a must see.

Blink Twice is not about eating the rich or satirizing the one percent. It’s instead a stylish, if tonally uneven, exploration of how being in the orbit of powerful people can produce an insidious sense of powerlessness that easily curdles into self-deception.

Blink Twice is a stylish psychological thriller about sexism in the #MeToo era. While its plot may feel familiar, Zoë Kravitz's confident direction and Channing Tatum's surprising performance elevate the film above its occasionally on-the-nose script.

Blink Twice confirms that director Zoë Kravitz has an artful eye and ear: Her debut feature is full of creative compositions, heightened sound design, and clever editing. However, where she excels in creating atmosphere and mood, she falls very short as a screenwriter.

Woefully underwritten, Ackie does just enough with her frequent close-ups to grant the slightest impression there might be more under the surface of her starstruck exterior. It’s an uphill battle Ackie fights admirably.

Blink Twice sucker punches the audience with its sexual violence and then fails to find intelligence or dexterity in its handling of it or any of the themes running adjacent.

I think the blink twice movie was really good. It was definitely something fresh especially with today’s climate in celebrity gossip. Naomi ackie ( Frida) does a good job at this role. I’m happy they chose a black woman to play main protagonist. I think Channing Tatum ( king slater) does a good job at playing the crazy deranged billionaire tech. We already knew prior to this movie that Tatum had good ranging in acting skills but I think this movie fully proved his range. I enjoyed seeing new actors and actress, I get tired of seeing the same people in every movie.I believe this movie had hidden Diddy and Jeffery Epstein account reference through this movie. The movie was suppose to be give the feel of what victims experience under the hands of wealth men & I think this movie did a beautiful showing that. The movie had a good unexpected twist ! Perfecto!I like the music selection to this movie as well but we all know a movie with an awesome soundtrack is always **** **** K. , phenomenal job on your first movie! Well done. If you’re into thrillers, drama, & suspense then you will love this movie.

You really have to suspend that disbelief here - you know, just let the magic flowers and magic venom on magic island flow over you. That said, it's well shot, has good performances, and is a fun if disturbing ride - even with the absurdly unpracticable ending that is clearly all about the allegory and unconcerned with believability.

Good attempt at debut. Enjoyed the Visual style of the film and the acting. The writing is where it starts to suffer. The film has ambitions of being clever but never quite gets there. Starts strong but eventually falls into cliches and has some corny, hard to believe moments. Ultimately fell short of its potential

It doesn't take long to quickly lose interest in this one. The cast tries and it is a good first effort by Kravitz but it just doesn't go anywhere or do anything that you wouldn't already expect it to do.

Thinks itself clever but for most I think it will disturbing and painful. It has something to say that it is import at hit it was marketed In a way that requires trigger warnings on theater doors to reset expectations. Approach with caution.
