WARNO

WARNO is a great World War III strategy game. It takes the best elements of previous titles created by Eugen Systems and expands on them. Battles are realistic but also fun. The five Army General campaigns will keep a fan engaged for tens of hours. Multiplayer is robust, with a variety of maps and divisions to choose from. The game looks good, and the soundtrack is fantastic. The way maps are picked for Army general battles needs to be tweaked and, of course, there’s plenty of balancing for units and divisions to be done. WARNO will appeal primarily to players who already like Wargame or Steel Division but any strategy fan interested in alternate Cold War history should also pick it up.

WARNO doesn't go easy on the player (especially if you are not a veteran of RTS games), but its depth and all the choices it has to offer can be extremely satisfying.

Eugen Systems studio finally listened to the fans, let go of the World War II and created what is probably the definitive form of its vision of a tactical game about a conventional world war III. Will this be enough to keep the title of leader in its niche? Time will tell, after the success of Wargame there is no shortage of imitators, and WARNO is taking no risks to surprise with something new.

good enough . I am not certain about weaponry database .it looks well balanced . we already have WWⅡ Conpany of heroes 2 . but Warno is modern warfare . military knowledge are all related . it is human wisdom of destruction .Warno explain better ,clearer overview .precisely Warno is about land forces tactics . you may begin from 0 ,Don't mess up , go study and learn . the battle system is satisfied . even without changed , Warno is suitable for Navy forces and Air forces ,that's huge project . So we can seriously talk about conquer an country in general mode .Still ,the weaponry is recent not latess ,radar jammer , UAV ,long-ranged missile ,gas tank cannon are not included . we should mod

The definitive RTS, specially if you are a fan of the Wargame series. This one centers itself around an earlier cold war as compared to Red Dragon. It takes both from the former and Steel Division series, with lots of Quality of Life improvements, advanced traits, better infantry combat and upgraded coop army general. Honestly, Eugen did an amazing job here and it will only get better. I hardly have any complaints. The game also features mod support through the workshop, which is super cool given we were using community custom tools to mod campaigns back in Red Dragon. I enjoy the slower pace, way better QoL, and downscaled battles you can experience in this one. Props to Eugen for making the game I dreamt about, and for taking it forward with regular updates and planned expansions.

I am a single player guy and bought Warno for that reason. First of all. If you don't like micromanagement i suggest you stay away from this title the game can be confusing you have to micromanage everything. Another thing I thought more single player content would come but unfortunately this developer doesn't care at all it seems they only focus in balancing multiplayer modes and they just use the Single player part of the game for players to practice. Of course, the "operations" mode is there basically there are few solo scenarios but they are a poor excuse compared to a true campaign and after you finish the operations there is very little replayability to them. Maybe they should had made this game strictly an MMO because the solo mode is not that good.
