Transformers: Galactic Trials has an interesting core idea and attractive graphics, but it is hindered by execution issues and limited content. It can be a fun experience for fans of the Transformers franchise, but it may not be enough to attract players without a prior connection to the series.

Yet another missing chance with the TF franchise... I just only need the trophy for getting all relics to get the Platinum (and probably won't do because its very time cosuming) so I think I can rate it accordingly. Its a bad game, a really bad game. It can be fun (mostly at the start or to just casual race with a friend) but that doesn't take away the fact that it seems like an uncomplete mobile gatcha game that was somehow remade for consoles and PC. Except the characters and a few details the game just look very generic.Tracks could be (literally) from Star Wars Racer or Extreme G for the N64 (except that those are great games) except for the fact that they have thrown here and there some giant robot statues, a faction symbol and some billboard with images that I'm not even sure they are from this game. War zones sometimes have areas that make no sense and you have no reason or reward to go that way instead or just rushing (except maybe if you are unlocking a weapon, to kill more enemies)The gameplay feels sometimes very clunky and the game cheats in your face without remorse. On easy the AI is so dumb that its common to see some rivals facing the wall like they were on "Blair witch project", Expert is ok, and then Prime is so unfair that you could be Bumblebee LvL 10 full speed modded and using the turbo, that if the game wants Megatron to win, He is going to overtake you at the speed of light, even if he needs to appear flying out of nowhere and he wasn't even behind you.Music is very meh and most of the time I forgot is there.Unlockable colours are plain lazy, as the three options are Classic, **** Glass and Golden. No grey shockwave, no toxitron, no soundblaster...Said that, I will only encourage to buy it only for collecting or if you just want to play a few times with a friend, and only if you see it on offer. I paid 20€ and still think I paid too much. Its really a shame, not just only because the game is so neglected and careless done, but because this kind of things only make people think that the TF franchise is dying and it has no value as a media-maker franchise.
