Return to Grace is a short but sweet narrative adventure game. The puzzles are infrequent and never frustrating, while the storytelling and voice acting do an admirable job in telling this futuristic tale about the hopes and dreams of humanity. I think it’s well worth checking out on Game Pass.

While not as deep as it could be, Return to Grace’s discussion of the role of AI in people’s lives – with those very AIs themselves – is a pleasant accompaniment to the wonderful sites discovered aboard an abandoned space base of the future.

Return to Grace from developer: Creative Bytes Studios is a short and sweet once-through experience. It has nice dialogue but is more for viewing than interactive gameplay. As a game tagged to be known as a “Walking Simulator” I believe this is the pinnacle of the genre. With its beautiful local, interesting in-game history, and clever dialogue Return to Grace is a great pick for a narrative-driven game to play all in one go. While the gameplay isn’t exactly my go-to first choice of gaming, after completing and experiencing everything the game has to offer, I can recommend this to those gamers who enjoy this type of gameplay.

It's an interesting story, an interesting premise. Another short walking simulator, but I like those generally. This one is good, it has good acting and beautiful world building, but the story in the end falls a bit short. i feel that "Deliver us the Moon" does the same thing, but better

A correct and short walking simulator with a few very simple puzzles, but featuring a highly relevant story. It's enjoyable enough to play, but not much more. My rating: ***

Return to Grace won't win over anyone that isn't interested in the slow and pensive pace that this genre delivers, but those that are will find a wonderfully crafted adventure that balances familiar tropes with insightful themes, memorable dialogue, and beautiful environments. At about 2.5 hours in length, the game is a quick play, but it doesn't overstay its welcome and feels like it's exactly as long as it should be. Return to Grace is an easy recommendation for anyone looking for a single-sitting adventure that'll stay in mind far longer.

a beautiful and philosophical game, made to be played in a moment of disconnection from the real world, let yourself be carried away by the story and characters (voices) and you will not regret it, it is incredible to see the emotional attention placed on the game that leads to an immersive and reflective experience (note: I recommend that the game be played completely at once for a better experience, you will not regret it)

Such a great game! The story is captivating and thoughtful, the voice acting is great and mechanics are just perfect for a narrative game. The solitary setting and the subtle decisions is what I loved the most, this game provoke deep reflection, leading us to question and ponder the paths of our own journey as a civilization. Great job!”

I don’t want to get into story spoilers, but I thought its representation of AI was a wonderful breath of fresh air, one that didn’t strike fear into my heart or make me worried about the state of my job. If you like walking simulators, story-driven games, and excellent voice acting, Return to Grace is well worth a shot – very few games make me want to dip back in immediately, just to see what else could happen.

A short and sweet experiential exploration game, Return To Grace embraces a 60s art style, interesting story and a relaxed approach to gameplay. Unfortunately, the lack of gameplay depth and predictable narrative beats prevent it ascending into the highest echelons of the genre’s grace. Regardless, embarking on Adie’s adventure is a calming and welcome experience in spite of its limitations.

The strength of Return to Grace lies in the writing and the incredible voice acting. The cast is made up of well-known industry talents, the cast effectively brings out each personality with great depth. Without such strong actors, A Return to Grace could have easily vanished into a sea of cautionary tales about artificial intelligence. The authors classify "Return to Grace" as science fiction in the style of the 1960s. Closer to fantasy in a sci-fi setting, with a good dose of gentle humor, with bright character and even superbly voiced characters, with simple gameplay. The most pleasant thing is to spend the evening without straining.

Very Good Game, just wish it was longer. Dialogue was clever, witty, funny, realistic, which when you're just going around opening doors & finding clues I guess it has to be, if you're someone who doesn't mind multiple play throughs to get full experience, this is one of those games, there's 3 endings I believe & you have choices/options on how to respond & do things throughout the game. I only played through it once & enjoyed my time with it but don't feel the need to play it all over again just to hear new dialogue or see new paths. Graphics & environment feel other worldly, like you're in a fever dream, being the only human gives you an eerie feeling, there's little mini game puzzles but not enough to call this a puzzle game imo.

-only worth 5 dollar or watch it on utube.
========
- 2 - 2:15 hour long. -another very repetitive boring walking simulator with generic simple story, disappointment ending, glitches and very bad last section.
-only good graphic and voice acting.
