It’s the last great resident evil game to be made. I’m sorry, but the modern ones just don’t cut it. You want an interesting game, with fantastic representations of zombies everywhere, actual horror that will make you afraid of the dark, and a main playable protagonist who is somehow universally loved? (In both a normal and obsessive way.) well here you have it; you won’t regret buying this game.

Resident Evil Requiem delivers an amazing survival horror experience. The atmosphere is dark and tense, reminding me of the classic Resident Evil games while still feeling modern. The graphics look fantastic and the gameplay is smooth and exciting. Every area feels detailed and the sound design makes the horror moments even better. The story keeps you interested and the characters are memorable. This game shows why the Resident Evil series is still one of the best in gaming. For me, it deserves a perfect 10/10.

The Best Resident Evil game in the entire franchise, Resident Evil would not be the same if it were not for this game. The only thing keeping this game from being a 10/10 for me is those god awful tank controls.

No entiendo por qué la gente sigue pensando que el original es mejor que el remake y porque algunos dicen que este quedó obsoleto enfrente del remake ambos son juegazos que están a la par y que prácticamente se complementan entre si. Este juego (el original) tiene indiscutiblemente mejores villanos son los mismos sí pero estos cuentan con más apariciones con más presencia y si hubiesen respetado eso en el remake sería uno de los mejores juegos de la historia sin embargo este juego flaquean muchas cosas como lo son sus controles ya que se sienten poco pulidos se sienten muy toscos Y eso hace difícil que para un jugador nuevo que está acostumbrado a juegos actuales como yo por ejemplo no se le haga tan atractivo al principio sin embargo por su rejugabilidad por sus armas por sus personajes por sus enemigos y por varios momentos graciosos que tiene la trama este juego es un juegazo y entiendo por qué este juego fue el que metió a muchos en la saga de resident entiendo el cariño que se le tiene pero decir que es mejor en todo aspecto que el remake no me parece para nada justo el remake implementó cosas que mejoran a este 1000 y un veces prácticamente todas siendo de gameplay y mejorando a sus personajes o protagonistas pero como recalco los que más brillan en este juego son los villanos porque sus protagonistas se sienten un tanto vacíos por ejemplo la muerte de Luis no tiene ningún peso emocional Ashley es una niña frustrante que solamente te hace el juego una experiencia más estresante de lo que debería y Ada se siente más como un apoyo del guion un personaje que debe de aparecer sí o sí en determinado momento que con un personaje en sí Y sobre todo tienen muy poco desarrollo respecto a sus anteriores entregas por ejemplo Leon después de haber vivido lo que vivió en raccoon city tendría que haber quedado marcado pero parece que lo olvidó por completo pues en este juego es casi un capitán america con el humor y chistes de Spiderman

This is, and always will be, the best Resident Evil game. No, scrap that; the best horror game ever made. RE4 features a mix of legendary combat and puzzle-solving, and no matter how many times you replay, it will never get old. Believe me, I've tried. 5/5 stars.

Resident evil 4 original trocou a essência de uma franquia incrível de survivor horror cheia de personalidade por uma ação barata e ridícula o jogo não tem aprofundamento em história como os jogos anteriores e os arquivos que nos outros jogos estavam espalhados por toda parte aqui quase não existem e quando você encontra um arquivo quase nunca tem mais de duas páginas o jogo de câmera desse jogo é horrível com aquelas partes que a câmera fica na bunda do personagem o jogo não tem importância nenhuma pra a Lore da franquia porque é só uma missão de resgate idiota em que você vira babá da ashlay e o jogo tem a dificuldade desbalanciada porquê em uns momentos o jogo é muito fácil e em outros muito difícil o sistema de comércio e dinheiro totalmente diferente de todo o resto da franquia dito isso esse jogo não é um resident evil

Detras de ti imbecil. This game offends me as a spanish speaker. Why are we in spain, but the villagers are talking in a Mexico accent... This is racist, and a game with 96 RATING being racist is offensive for videogame enjoyers. Overrated and racist as ****. One point because i like ada (leon is not hot).

Ich finde es gibt wenige Spiele die sich perfekt nenen dürfen und das ist genauso ein Spiel. Die Story ist spannend, abwechslungsreich und fesselnd. Ich liebe die Momente wenn man in den Speicherpoint kommt und man es merkt, weil die Musik anders wird, es anders beleuchtet ist und der Handler auch etwas magisches an sich hat. Dazu ist das Spiel auch gruselig und ich finde das Remake von dem Spiel nicht authentisch und schlecht

Quite possibly the single most over-rated RE title. First, allow me to say that I love the Resident Evil franchise as a whole. I understand that this game was a stepping stone. - One of the first steps of many that the RE franchise (and third-person shooters) took toward what they are today. I respect the game for what it did back in 2005. By today's standards however, it leaves much to be desired. For starters, the game lacks many things that have become an industry standard in all videogames, which is proper right analog stick support. This affects movement, aiming, and camera controls, three things that are absolutely vital to a game in this genre. You have no ability to move and shoot, the aiming is anything but precise, and the game uses "tank controls" which is moreso associated with classic RE games than it is the action-shooters this game was trying to be. That brings me to my first topic. The controls start off as clunky and awkward. The game's combat is balanced around that awkwardness. Foes will often times hurry to your location, only to stand around and get cold feet before attacking. A single shot to an enemy's face or knee will stun him, and it provides no challenge whatsoever once the controls have been mastered, (especially on subsequent playthroughs). What follows after the stun? Kung-Fu and Power Ranger flips. That's right, the game is absolutely crammed to the gills with early 2000's cringe. If the over the top kicks and flips aren't enough for you, how about the complete assassination of Leon Kennedy's character. He was a serious cop the last time we saw him in Resident Evil 2. Now, he's a corny joke dispenser, (akin to Gex the Gecko or Bubsy), with a bad haircut. He performs physical feats even a gymnast would envy, and the entire game is basically one big meme. I prefer my survival/horror without the cringe, please.Speaking of cringe, Ashley's voice is like nails on a chalkboard. She is quite possibly the single-most annoying support character I have ever enountered in a videogame. Her facial features/proportions resemble something more out of the movie Gremlins than a human being. ...and guess what? the developers insisted upon making a good portion of the game an escort mission with her. That's right, a near perpetual escort mission, with the most obnoxious character ever imagined. That's okay tho, because we can look up her skirt. oop. Did I say that? Yeah! That's a thing in this game. Good thing that was coded in instead of making the controls not ****. See what type of person this game caters to yet? If only they gave Leon a fedora, too (its there, lol). Moving on... The pacing is atrocious. About every ten minutes or so, you get a Facetime call with someone (usually the bad guys) where the action comes to a screeching halt so the game can exposition dump story into your lap. The calls are cringe and awkward to say the least, but if you skip them you are essentially skipping the game's story. Then you have the issue that the village at the very beginning is the high point of the game, and each section becomes progressively less-enjoyable than the section that came before it. (The castle is not as enjoyable as the village; the island is not enjoyable as the castle). A good game should be a roller-coaster of ups and downs to make you really appreciate the highs. There is nothing for you after the village, sorry. You get a sense of a "glad that's over" rather than, "whooo that was fun." Graphics don't hold up at all by 2025 standards. Jagged polygons everywhere, poorly pre-rendered, low-res, HUD that is a 3D rendered and overlayed polygon with the low-res textures applied (a product of the Gamecube's inability to directly draw 2D optimally). Audio... Ambient audio is re-used everywhere. Your own footsteps will start to drive you nuts after a while. The same exact wind blowing sfx plays throughout like 80% of the game. There are no audio siders, or any real audio options. What else... Quicktime Events. Yeah... they went nuts with those in this game. Don't get me started on that. I think that about wraps it up. In case you are wondering "Why all the negativity?"The game Resident Evil 4 Remake improves upon the original in so many ways that it actually boggles my mind as to how people can continue saying this game is (present tense) any good. Maybe it WAS something back in 2005... but even then, RE fans were polarized on it. RE4 was a misstep for fans of Survival/Horror, and Capcom putting a cringe action game in the hands of Nintendo kids, who are now Nintendo adults irrevocably damaged the franchise. If you are new to the franchise, and wondering whether or not you should play the remake or the OG, do yourself a favor and play the remake. The bars been raised, and the remake improves upon practically everything you could think of. Quit lying to yourself, and take the nostalgia goggles off.

An unforgettable experience that juxtaposes campy dialogue with heart racing horror. A shift in the IP that helped to differentiate it against the often compared Silent Hill series, RE4 brings addicting gameplay, memorable characters, and an atmosphere that is uniquely its own.

I've been around the block for decades, and if I had to pick 10 of the best video games in history, Resident Evil 4 is the only one without hesitation I know is in that list. It's quicker to list all its faults rather than everything good about it, so here they are: The textures have aged woefully, the emergent story is ****, Magnum ammo is too sparse, you can't stockpile weapons, and it should not have been included as part of the RE franchise. That's pretty much it, for me. Impossible not to love this game in some regard, unless you have a nervous disposition to violence or dank environments.
