Quantum Break walked so Control can Run. Microsoft needs to let Remedy make a sequel to this. The cliffhanger **** knowing we will probably never see a sequel, but I believe. They should also re-release this on PS5 so more people can try it out. Too many questions left unanswered at the end of the game, and I've gone through 2 playthroughs now.

Quantum Break has a decent story but otherwise it's plagued with unpolished and forgettable gameplay. The powers are limited due to a cool down and the system for upgrading them is weak- you are supposed to find invisible chronon scattered around the levels by scanning the environment constantly, and if you forget to look for them, which you might because it takes you out of the immersion and it's tedious, you will pay for it in the end. Enemy variety is next to nonexistent, and the platforming and puzzle parts are too dull and easy. The movies and special effects are entertaining, so I'll give it that much.

My first Remedy game and a great foreshadowing of what the studio would come to produce.

Honestly deserves a sequal lowkey! It's has lots of things to do, and I think there was room for a sequal.

Great story line and actors in this gripping first person shooter. Enjoyed the twists in time.

Beautiful 4k visuals on series x console. Fantastic soundtrack and high production quality especially with the cutscenes and attention to detail present **** "TV show" episodes. Perhaps a stretch too ambitious, remedy do their best to tell a compelling time travel story mixing a very light "choose your own" storyline. The gameplay is interesting blending puzzles,exlporation and action scenes. However the game play just never quite flows as well asthe more recent control and Alan wake 2so it ends up being a rather generic shooter with "time bending" buffs to explain your shield and pause enemy moves. Nonetheless if you're a fan of remedy/scif action games then this will appeal to you.

First off, great game with tons of ambition that don't go too overboard. Most games that try to combine movies/shows alongside a game fail; this one takes it fast but slow with the idea. Combat is weird but smooth to a point and easy to master. The time powers make you feel like a badass and the story is great. Only thing I take a point off for is the immersion breaking stuff that should be int he game. Reloading breaks immersion, the character doesn't have a full animation for it. The second thing is you can't kill all hostiles in the game when the time breaks happen. You should be able to do that, civilians I get, but hostiles no, let us kill them.

Gameplay too lean, the story is not bad, and the streaming episodes, an ambitious project ... and then find yourself with a mid video game. It doesn't even seem like a Remedy game, many good intentions but wanting to focus on the TV series and the filmed scenes, instead of focusing on the video game and the gameplay too easy and lean, transform it into a rather low-mid video game. It doesn't let itself be played in fact .. it's just a nice little story to watch. Balance scales with **** lacks anyway.. Good **** gameplay. What saved this game from a 6? Cool OST Background music scaling with temporal powers. And a balance that scales a bit in the end with a real well done story. Can i raise to 8? Yes Because the story is really well done and cool. Like all Remedy Games A sequel can sanate the mess..:) The enemy AI is really poorly done.. the game mechanics don't ****'s a shooter and there are many parts in the game where you have to take cover behind a wall. But the character has no function to take cover and lean out to shoot. Which is now a must in modern video games Shadow and lightining effects are a real mess in thems of graphics.. 7 or 8.. a real debate about it..sometimes gameplay is real Dumb.. Lack of longevity..7.5

Uma experiência que eu não acredito que demorei tanto para ter, esse jogo é surpreendente em tudo que se propõe a fazer, esse lance de ser um jogo e uma série ao mesmo tempo, é muito impressionante, e melhor, tudo isso funciona, como eles conseguem contar a história durante a gameplay, cutscenes e complementar isso tudo com os episódios, nunca vi isso antes em todos esses anos, dá nem para acreditar que esse jogo é de 2016, os jogos hoje em dia não chegam nem perto do que foi Quantum Break, os personagens são incríveis, os atores são reais e muito carismáticos, em especial o Lance **** que interpreta o Dr. Martin Hatch, ele rouba a cena toda vez que aparece, personagem fantástico, intimidador, misterioso e intrigante, Paul Serene e suas motivações, a relação entre Jack e William Joyce, tudo muito bem escrito, só não me agradou muito o destino de certos personagens como o do Charlie, Beth e Liam, esperava um desfecho melhor para estes personagens, a fiona ficou no salva-vidas, mas o que aconteceu lá depois da retirada do RCC? O que aconteceu com o liam e sua esposa? E esse final deixou uma grande interrogação na minha cabeça, mas creio ter sido a intenção, e esse jogo ainda é conectado com Alan Wake e Control, a remedy soube muito bem-fazer esse universo e Quantum Break é com certeza um dos melhores dele, espero ver uma continuação um dia.

Quantum Break had decent ideas, but the execution leaves a lot to be desired. Decent gameplay and great visuals (for the time, and that have aged well) are offset by a bad story, short length, and no replay value.

Story 9/10, Gameplay 9/10, Grafik 6/10, Musik 8/10. Für mich einer der besten Storygames die ich jemals gespielt habe, auch das Gameplay macht enorm Spaß. Ich hatte allerdings große Grafik Probleme, weswegen das Spiel an manchen Stellen fast nicht spielbar war, das kann natürlich auch an meinem Laptop liegen aber es hat halt an manchen Stellen extrem genervt weil ich nichts sehen konnte. Sonst ist das Spiel aber beinahe Perfekt und ich würde es jedem dringendst empfelen.

Excellent game. Excellent graphics. Very good combat gameplay. Avoid narrative sameness with captivating characters. The only criticism is due to the character's movement around the scene, sometimes weightless and clumsy.

Another bold, post-Max Payne swing from Remedy that doesn't quite land but still is fun and fully original. The live-action stuff doesn't work as well, but the time-travel shenanigans are mind-bending and the combat is action-packed. Good performances, too.

The game was hella good, graphics still hold up.. Xbox needs to do more projects like this.

Preciso vir aqui dizer o quanto me decepcionei com o ultimo chefe. Ele é totalmente desbalanceado.Joguei no normal e o progresso do jogo pra mim foi ok, morri as vezes mas tudo bem, normal. O ultimo chefe ele dispara bombas aleatórias que são ridiculas. Acredite, eu desisti do jogo sem ver o final porque cansei de morrer nesse chefe. Acho que tentei umas 50 vezes.

Underrated game! That's the first Remedy title using the great Northlight game engine, the story is awesome and it's the first attempt in blending a TV series in a game. I hope Remedy could acquire the IP from Microsoft for a deserved sequel and for connecting it in an official manner to the Remedy Connected Universe. Fingers crossed!

Typical Remedy game, I liked it but the weapons are too similar and some skills are unnecessary. The story is exciting, I liked the characters and the actors were perfect as well.

Average is everything. No charisma for characters despite the fact they made them look like real actors. The story is dilusional and unexplained well. Characters does not develop and have no explained motivation. Music is average. Gameplay is usual 3D action withstylish combat. Design is ok, however it only includes office and storage locations. Only 3-4 different enemy types and no bosses.

Remedy is one of the best studios when it comes to storytelling and this games proves that. The episodes between the missions is something that you don't see in video games. The action is not too much. I like the pacing of the game, some cutscenes, after that a little bit of action, and then some episodes. The only thing i didn't like is the last bossfight, it was underwhelming for me...

One the best Remedy's game. Good polished game with a mix of game - movie scenes. The storytelling is great, with good writing and also a great narrative. The game is dynamic, quick and good looking.

Remedy Entertainment and the illustrious Sam Lake are unparalleled when it comes to crafting mind-bending stories dotted with easter eggs. Quantum Break is a surprising little gem that confuses as much as it delights. Beautiful and gripping, it struggles to truly feel like a game. Quantum Break is fun, thrilling, and a gorgeous experience that plays with hit-or-miss mixes of gameplay and live-action sections. Its fun combat mechanics will keep you entertained but its short length and abrupt, ambiguous ending will leave you a little dissatisfied. As far as I know, Quantum Break isn't a part of the Remedy Connected Universe (yet, anyway), and with Microsoft owning the property, we may never get answers to the many questions left after the credits roll.

I love the theme of time travel, that's why this game caught my attention. It's a great narrative, very good graphics for the time, and I definitely enjoyed playing it. It's not the best experience on Xbox Series, in terms of resolution and FPS, but you can always give it a try.

Often forgotten, unfair to be frank because oh boy, this game is a rollercoaster of feelings, some fine story moments and great characters. If you like Control gameplay, well, THIS is the real thing, where it all started. This game is too good. And on Xbox Series S, it plays PERFECT.

It is illegal that this game has no sequels planned.

"Quantum Break" was a pleasant experience. I liked the theme about time travelers and sci-fi stories; the narrative was fun; and the mix with the series, I think, was ahead of its time. The gameplay was fun overall but lacked points. The boss battles weren't memorable or too easy, and the common enemies were too generic, but the music and graphics were good. I think this game deserves the next installment. Their highest point is their story. Jack Joyce is an excellent character. My final score is 8/10.

A truly masterpiece. Story was so good at all times and the combat system was very well implemented. Loved every second of it.

This spiritual sequel to Alan Wake is a hybrid of story-driven action game and a TV show. It's only about 8 hours long. The live-action episodes have the quality of a network TV show. Fans of Detroit: Too Human and L.A. Noire might enjoy it. The game looks fantastic, although there is stuttering and screen tear on occasion. Some might be disappointed with the lack of action. After all, you're given plenty of firearms and time bending powers. But this is more of a story-driven affair with gunfights sprinkled throughout. When the action does occur, it's dazzling. Overall, I would rate this with a 7.6 out of 10.

Kind of a mid game. Very fun at first, with some unique mechanics, but it just plays poorly. Needs a current-gen update on XBOX very badly.
