Party Animals is a slap in the face and will make you laugh. Intelligent, beautiful, easy to access and yet full of challenge, it's a little marvel.

Party Animals presents an overall fun and chaotic experience that will have players laughing with their friends. The characters are cute, the boards are fun and the multiplayer aspect is a plus. However, since the release date, not much has been added which makes the game short-lived with content and can demotivate players to pick this title up again.

Party Animals is probably the most entertaining and funny cooperative brawler out there at the moment, making it easy to forget even its most fierce competitor, Gang Beasts. Yet, little details like a high input lag and a totally useless game camera provided to each player downmies the true scope that this little game could have accomplished.

Depending on who you play Party Animals with, it can be a long-running game or a regret you'll forget after two days. Unfortunately this is the fate of all parties. While you're in a corner wondering why you attended, someone else may be having the night of their lives... Animals.

There is enough content here to keep the game entertaining for a while, and as long as the annoyance of the purposedly sluggish controls can be forgiven, then Party Animals will be having players laughing and cursing for many months to come all thanks to its wacky physics and fun game modes.

Whilst the DNA of Party Animals is nothing new, there’s enough here to warrant giving it a go if you’re a fan of the genre. The visuals are great, the animals are cute as all hell and the levels are beautifully designed. Playing it with friends really brings the game to life, so don’t forget to bring some along.

Party Animals is simply frustrating to play, and most of the minigames boil down to the same scrappy situations that get old fast.

Personally think this is one of the silliest games to play with friends. Plus with the new friend pass feature for users on steam, if you don't want to buy the game and just want to play with one of your friends who owns the game fear no more! You can now get it for free! Only problem is you have to be playing with your friend who owns party animals at all times. Overall this game is so fun with loads of modes, the replayability is really good.

Hilarious party game with a few hours of legit fun. Yes, Party Animals is "yet another one" like Human Fall Flat, Eggstraction, Witch It and many others. You play as an animal like a cat, dog, fox or trash panda, each with their own facial expressions. You gather up some friends, load a map and start battling each other by throwing your opponent off the map. Each map has certain hazards that speed up the elimination progress. You can throw each other of conveyer belts, let your opponent getting crushed between a hammer and simply throw them off a ledge. Graphicly, this game looks alright. The animations and physics are also fine. The music is silly and fits with the theme. The controls are horrendous and sluggish and many times, you do not have any feedback that you successfully grabbed or pushed an opponent. You can grab with both limbs separately and yank them towards you or towards the nearest death pit. For some reason, Party Animals has one of the worst matchmaking systems ever. In the core, you just invite people and play, but sometimes you get popups about the free version of the game, the paid version, "only the host can invite you", friends that do not show up etc. Etc. I still have no clue how to play with strangers or how to find a public game to this day. Yet again, this game is fun with some friends on a LAN party or a random Friday night. Playing it alone or with strangers is boring and because so, I will not play this game other than with friends. I do not think this game is worth almost 20 euros. For this reason, I cannot recommend it when you look at the basic content and game modes, that Party Animals offers.

The game mechanics are good. But I cannot understand why this game does not support local multiplayer.
