Fruit Ninja is fun, fun, fun. It's an instant pleasure and one you can find yourself hooked to, determined to post the highest fruit-murdering scores on OpenFeint or Facebook.

The game is fast-paced and simple (the only way to fail is to miss three fruits or accidentally slice a bomb), and the inclusion of online global leaderboards adds a little extra incentive to boot up the game when I'd otherwise be bored.

This is my favourite mobile game ever, because you have Arcade, Zen and Classic mode that makes you addictive for manymany hours, especially the arcade mode! When you are completing a round in one of these modes, you will think everytime: "I can do it better than my highscore", and that makes you more addicted. Sounds and graphics are perfect on this mobile game. You will love the process of mastering slice combos!

Fruit Ninja is a fun, simple addictive game that is a classic, like Angry Birds. There's no story, but a game where you hack and slash for new blades and achievements doesn't really need one. Story wise, there is a small one saying Ninjas hate fruit, now make Sensei proud by destroying it but look out for bombs. There's three modes, Classic, Arcade and Zen. In Classic you're out by either missing three fruits or slicing a bomb, but there's no timer. In Arcade, nothing happens If you lose fruit, but bombs take away 10 seconds from your time. Theres also bonus fruits in these two modes, like Freeze, Frenzy etc. In Zen mode, there's 90 seconds and nothing damages you, and no bombs. Blades can be unlocked and are unique and challenging to unlock, such as slice a certain amount of Freeze Bananas in Arcade to unlock the Freeze Blade. Backgrounds can be unlocked with the same concept. But it, its only $1.00/£0.69.

Fruit Ninja is the sort of game that has come to typify the rising dominance of quick, simple and most of all additively fun gameplay that's great value for your iDevice.

Fruit Ninja is the perfect casual game that I thoroughly enjoyed. While there are minor problems I stated above, it's an overall solid appearance on the App Store and one that casual gamers shouldn't miss.

Perhaps the best part is that this game isn't even complete. A whole new game mode is expected to be released sometime in the near future, so you're in fact investing in the game, which already costs practically nothing.

Unfortunately, there's only one mode, making Fruit Ninja a one-trick pony. But considering the price of the game and those advanced online features, we'll let it slide. Clearly, the best type of app is the one you can't resist playing and/or can easily play any time, and that being said, this game is worth every penny.

As simple and fun as Fruit Ninja evidently is, it feels like a Wario Ware game isolated for a single release.

Simple, fun and addictive. A game that can be played very quickly and a match takes about 1-5 mins. With all unlockable stuff and scoreboard it becomes very addictive game. Recommended for all ages.

It's simple and straightforward, but a super fun arcade game nonetheless. It lacks for content, but the gameplay loop is satisfying enough to keep you coming back when you have time to kill on the go.

Nice little mobile game. I miss good little high score games like this. They should put this on Switch.

Classic Android/IOS game. It's not good, it's not bad. But it satisfies your needs. After all, I do reccomend you check out this game since it emits some funniness for quite a while,

What is the bloody point of this? Its boring and repetitive of fruit nonetheless? Most phone games I just can't understand. its like phone game devs say "Hey people are stupid and will play anything and we'll rake in money in ads" Its just not a very well developed game. Its only good appeal are children and casuals.
