A very cool puzzle game, but one that relies a little too heavily on the inherent brilliance of its concept. [Issue#257, p.77]
Smart, innovative, well balanced and beautiful: Framed is a gorgeous debut for Loveshack, and easily one of the best games of the year on iOS.
It's unique, fresh and makes you think. As weird as it may look, Framed is one of those milestones in mobile gaming, and one of those games you have to try.

It's a brilliant idea, and looks good, but is way too expensive for such a short game. Puzzles aren't difficult. Finished it in one brief sitting, then spent a while lamenting my lost $$.

At first glance, Framed is an intriguing game with a noirish tone and innovative gameplay elements. It doesn't take long for the novelty to wear off though. Dig under the surface, and you'll find that Framed is a brief comic book journey that is too short and too incoherent in its storytelling. The puzzles have some degree of variety, but lack challenge and difficulty. Overall rating - 6.6/10

Unless one of the puzzles absolutely stumps you, the credits will come before the 2-hour mark. That might be too soon for some, but what matters more is Framed is a game that never wears out its welcome, with every second a joy to play.

Just the mobile GOTY! All awards are well deserved. It is a moody, smart and innovate game. Some fresh air in the industry of gaming. I highly recommend this game.

A bright light in a increasingly dull genre, Framed is a puzzler with enough going for it that you can look past its little problems.

FRAMED is a brilliant puzzle game that you can't quit one you've started playing it. Even if it's too short, the experience is memorable for what it does great: its mechanics feel great, it's beautiful, well-rhythmed, with a fantastic jazz score. A must have for any smartphone/tablet owner.

Framed is awesome! It has excellent gameplay, great rotoscoped graphics, and difficult puzzles. While short, this game is worth every dollar, thanks to fantastic writing in terms of story. If you are looking for a fun experience to pass the time, Framed works great.

Framed has a novel idea and implements it pretty well, but after the 5th or 6th frame, the excitement dies off and it feels more like any other puzzler- luckily, the game doesn't overstay its welcome and its general aesthetics keep it from being dull. I enjoyed the atmosphere, art style, and music; I just wish there was a bit more variety of content.

This was a really great little game until it suddenly got 100x more difficult when it gets to the train station. You can see what needs to be done, but it won't let you do it. I assume that there are some obscure rules as to how to go about it, which would be fine, but up to this point it has all been pretty simple and straightforward, but still fun, and now suddenly it becomes nearly impossible. I am so disappointed because I was really enjoying it until then. Maybe I will do and check the cheat sites to see if there is something I am missing. Nice little game ruined by lack of proper graduation of difficulty levels.
