DELTARUNE gathers all the qualities that made Undertale so great, and turns them up a notch. DELTARUNE, the parallel story to Undertale, offers a different perspective surrounding player's choices and freedoms in a video game, and the impact this has in the story, whilst also offering a complex and mysterious story which is still far from being figured out. The characters are just as lovable as they were in Undertale, and so is the music, the art, the boss fights, and all the other things that made Undertale so great. The battle system, while similar to Undertale, is still unique and fun to use. And with only 4 out of 7 chapters released, this game has so much potential in its story. Definitely a must play for any gamer (or even someone who's never fully played a video game before).

Toby Fox really knows how to take players on an emotional rollercoaster! DELTARUNE is fantastic, and it is impressive how he manages to balance so many different feelings in one game. An absolute mix of emotions. This game made me feel joyous, pleasantly sad, excited, and tense: it truly captures it all. Between the perfect story, the memorable characters, and the incredible soundtrack, Toby Fox completely nailed it with DELTARUNE.

One of the best stories I've experienced in my life with some of the greatest characters in any game I've ever played with some of the best music I've ever heard. However, the game does need a little extra menu polish and some of the abilities like Red Buster seem to have been forgotten between chapters. Other than that, It's one of the greatest games I've ever played.

Beautiful storytelling by toby fox, if toby fox keeps pumping out these chapters better and better than this might be a top 3 games of all time for me, all i really have to say is DELTARUNE TOMORROW! Also, the fact that this game is debatably better than undertale when it only has 4 chapters, means that the is has potential for game of the year when it fully comes out?

I’m eagerly awaiting the next chapters of Deltarune, can’t wait for each one.

Amazing Game. The characters, boss fights, and the music are all amazing. I would say its even better than Undertale!

Deltarune is in the list of a couple games that i could call „peak fiction”. Susie and Ralsei might actually be my favorite video game characters of all time. If you love RPG’s with a very compalling story, this game is for you.

The dog did it. That damn dog actually did it. He finally released his half-done masterpiece, yet it's nowhere near half-baked. 10 out of 10, every time. Incredible game, every time I boot it up. Genuinely. All those people you hear praising it? *They're right.* All the people saying it's a masterpiece? *THEY'RE RIGHT.* Quite simply, go play this game, 10/10, would drive in my car right after a beer again.

Deltarune is an incredible game, Toby Fox worked very well on it, Deltarune is Undertale but it has mechanics and a story that are at some point even better than Undertale, Deltarune still has great potential in the next chapters.

Chapter 3 and 4 give significant improve of gameplay and story, and make me curious of the lore

Best indie game. Simple as that. It's UNDERTALE's "parallel universe", and it extended and improved Undertale's gameplay a LOT more, and the story and plot is so far absolutely wonderful. HIGHLY recommend.

Probably my favorite piece of entertainment ever made, the game has everything you could want from one, great and constant humor, perfect soundtrack (though you already knew that), great art direction (barring bits of chapter 1), wonderful characters, a great story still unfolding now with constant theories being made, and a fun combat system that’s a major improvement to Undertale (I still love you Undertale). My only problem is that it simultaneously isn’t finished AND will have to end one day. The game oozes passion and charm to the point of excessive overload. Deltarune is waiting, give it a try. Proceed.

Deltarune is genuinely one of the best pieces of art i have consumed. The music captures the game in a way i can't describe, the story is captivating and sparks thought and my curiosity like nothing else. This game is just flowing with so much passion, and there's only four chapters left! The characters are amazing, the gameplay is fun, everything is great. Absolutely glaze, i know, but i just love it so much. Absolute fixation, you could call it.

If Undertale could be more mundane (in a good way) but at the same time way show heightened maturity. Spectacular soundtrack, very polished pixel art, well developed game loop, all that with themes and writing that stay with you. A must play.

Great game,has a compelling narrative and It has very few points that could be better in the entirity of its 4 chapters (as of 2025)

Please play this game. It’s better then Undertale in almost every single way. This is one of the only games that never made me go „ well, this is kinda boring”.

Every inch of this game is crawling with charm and personality. First off, the gameplay is insanely fun. From traversing increasingly unique terrain and puzzles, to fighting various foes, there is excitement in every minute of gameplay. The replay-ability is insane here, with secret bosses and an alternate “weird” route, that significantly changes the course of the game. Yet, despite what you do, the ending is mostly the same for each chapter, giving the player a strange sense of freedom despite the repeated theme of “Your choices don’t matter”. The highlight of this game is the characters. Every one of their arcs feels natural and earned throughout the game. The relationships between them are extra compelling. Finally, the incredible ost and art direction make every moment a treat to both the eyes and ears. There is not a thing wrong, and everything right with this game. 10/10

This is one of the only games I have ever played that made me want to have my memory wiped just so I could experience this game for the first time again. Masterpiece.

If i were to lose my memory by a terrible terrible being. I would thank it so i can play these 4 chapters alone again. I will sell my grandma for chapter 8 to come out NEXT WEEK.

Deltarune is the best videogame ever created, at least artistically talking. It's better than Toby's last work, Undertale, in every aspect. The music is just perfect, the gameplay is really entertaining, the textures are beautiful, the history hits hard... A totally masterpiece that worths every cent I paid for it.

Even though it's only halfway through its story, it is one of the best RPGs that I have ever played. The combat is fun and sometimes challenging, especially during the secret boss fights, the story is interesting, the world building is good, and the character development is amazing.

I love the mystery that the game brings, both in gameplay and story. It's really engaging, right from the first seconds.

Deltarune is an incredible sequel to Undertale, a game which I enjoyed but didn't love as much as Deltarune. Chapter 1 is easily the weakest, it's a bit short and playing it very safe. Chapter 2 introduces some very fun characters and from Chapter 3 onwards it's a brilliant rollercoaster. At just under 20 hours, I had a great time with this game.

This is the greatest game since sliced bread. In all seriousness, if you liked UNDERTALE, you will adore DELTARUNE. You’ll meet characters from that game, and go into different worlds with a cute little fluffy Goat boy, and a lovable cast of misfits that you WILL grow attached to. Now is a better time than ever to get deltarune. It is not a fully complete story yet. There is still a lot of work and lots of time to be put into it. But I assure you, every single time I waited for a chapter, it was worth it. Sometimes I would play the game over and over to try to find secrets. It’s also really easy in chapter 1 and 2. And the best part? The castle town. going into the little world that you craft from making friendson your quests, setting them up in your cafe. Exploring everyone’s rooms, and of course, hugging the dummy. This might’ve been the best game I have ever had the pleasure of playing. It was so vibrant, and cozy. A game that I truly don’t want to end. Seeing all of these characters band together, and go on misadventures doing what they want to do. And just being along for the ride. I think I was a lot younger when the first chapter came out. Downloaded it on my laptop after playing UNDERTALE, and decided this would be a good alternative to that after playing it. Truth be told, it’s easier tosay that it’s not a game, but an experience. If you want a funny, epic, and entertaining game shrouded with mystery, this game is a must. And I am not overstating that this game is the best game I’ve ever played. I don’t think I will ever have an experience like this ever again after it ends. So I am begging you, please play this amazing **** first 2 chapters are free, and if you want the full package, you can pay 25$. The other chapters will be free updates. If you want to try it out for yourself (which if your interested In UNDERTALE, this is a must) then go for it. Chapter 1& 2 is already longer than UNDERTALE, and that’s just scratching the surface (get it?) of what you need to do in this game. So if you have some extra time on your hands, try it **** demos free. Longer thanany other demo I played. Kept me company for years. So yeah, TL:DR in my opinion, this might be the greatest indie game, no ,the greatest GAME of all time.
