Dark Years

when i start playing this game it was hopeless but by keep playing, it gets better and better. at the end i had an memorable experience. it has a good story and satisfying game-play but the graphic could be much better.

good story , nice comic cutscenes , long gamplay time , average graphics . For 15 $ its a good game . I enjoyed it .if you like adventure indie games with historical background you must buy this one.

this is NOT an indie game. This game was funded directly by the Iranian government. very buggy, outdated graphics and unpleasant gameplay. At 15 bucks retail still way overpriced

Reality check: There is nothing right with Dark Years. Saying it's good out of Iranian pride makes you a liar. Saying it is good considering its modest origins makes you condescending. It's a mess. An ugly, buggy mess that has the right to be released but not to be sold. Many an amateur has done better than that. It's pretty hard for me to find a good thing to say about this game. Come to think of it, it's also pretty hard to chose its worst aspect: - It's definitely as ugly as a turkey's sphincter (what do you mean, you've never seen one ?) I mean, I can forgive cheap textures, but at least align them on your models, come on ! - The story is incomprehensible. - The gameplay is mostly made of running through long empty streets. - Invisible walls, spinning camera, bad voice acting, no saves, wasd controls... ok, I choose one, otherwise I'm here for hours: the mini-teleportations of the main character when changing directions. I had never seen that one before. Let's face it, Dark Years is a turd. The only reason it doesn't get a 0 is because it is functioning, which is kind of a prowess, all things considered.
