Backyard Baseball '97

Backyard Baseball ’97 should join your growing arsenal of phone games. It’s a great quick hit of nostalgia whenever you need it in your pocket. The lack of commitment helps even further because you don’t need to remember any major story beats.

For me, it's that simple gameplay that really shines, an overall vibe that is set up by the stellar presentation, which takes a hit with slow gameplay.

Backyard Baseball '97 is a charming port of the original 90's computer game featuring quirky players, with commentary and intuitive controls.
