Archon Classic

The best strategy game ever, we have every friday Archon games with 4 friends for at least 5 years and enjoying it all the time playing free for all verusus each other, it's 10/10 no doubt!!!

One of my favorite games that has been masterfully remade. They added just enough extra on top of the core game to keep it classic but fresh. The secondary abilities are great to have and the 4 player adds depth to the strategy board. Well done game…if you liked the original 1983 classic, you'll love this one. Best play experience is with a controller, sitting on a couch with a few friends. You'll never be the same!

Near perfect update of the classic. Adding 4-player this game is even more fun than the original. Secondary abilities, more boards, and an entire puzzle campaign make this a high value for the price. But make sure you have a controller to connect to your machine couldn't imagine playing without one.

This is a very good remastered edition of an old classic. There are a fairly large array of game options available, ranging from numerous tutorials, campaigns, leveling up pieces games, and hot seat games where you can play with a friend. The graphics engine is also quite nice plus you have the option of showing the retro graphics if you prefer the old look. The music is also quit catchy, especially the music that plays when battle engages.

update of the old school classic. still tough to pull off the diagonal shots with keyboard, just like the original! has new game board and quest modes. combat AI significantly improved from old school classic, but board AI is worse.

I played the original as a kid and easily made the chess team in high school. Decent game.
