The game is much longer than it needs to be; by the end, you just want to skip the dialogues without paying much attention. Some parts aren't clear where things are, you just wander aimlessly. The old childhood home scenes are very repetitive, and some parts seem to exist solely to prolong the game. Without these issues, I would have given it a much higher rating. The first 5-6 hours were quite enjoyable; although the gameplay wasn't particularly exciting, it flowed like a great album. But after a while, it became like a remix album repeating the same motifs., Fps camera just bad gave me a headache , The game should be a maximum of 4 hours long; the gameplay itself isn't designed to handle 10 hours of content. It seems like a good experience, I'm not sure, but it's worth buying and playing. My rating would be higher if 6 hours of gameplay were removed.

One of the coolest story games I've ever played, you want to understand what is happening & who everyone is, each mission & every dialogue has something interesting you discover & learn, really hard to describe this game other than otherworldly & just very interesting & unique all around.

I was introduced to this game from pc game pass, because i wanted to play every game that is available on it and 1000xRESIST was the first one on the list. the game is very good, the story is so deep and really creative with a good art style and many different characters. i enjoyed playing it, but the only things holding it down for me were the way the story was written and its pacing, sometimes you don't really know what's happening or why did the characters do somethings (like the purpose), and other times you feel like you're just following instructions and just doing what the game wants you to do without knowing why, and sometimes the dialogue doesn't really help much in understanding that scene or part of the story. overall a very good game and really recommend giving it a go.

1000x Resist is genuinely one of the most immersive and enveloping stories in games. The incredible voice acting and blend with engaging stories and forms the story takes, it makes for a really enjoyable and incredible experience.

What a beautiful game. There's so much love behind this, I am speechless, what a terrific achivement. I began this game a skeptic and by the end was left completely enamored with it. I hesitate to say more in fear of spoiling too much so I'll just say this: If you are hesitating for whatever reason. Don't, play it and thank me later.

This game is very light on mechanics and relies primarily on its narrative to engage you. Luckily it is a narrative that is well written and tackles complex topics most mainstream games would even touch. The story Is a sci-fi drama, set thousands of years after a calamity that wiped out most of humanity. You play as one of many clones of a woman who who survived the collapse of society. The game explores the themes of generational trauma, justice and as the name implies, resistance and fighting for a better future. I would recommend the game to anyone who likes narrative focused games that have something meaningful to convey.

A wannabe Avant-garde visual novel. Lots of talking for so little substance. I could see how someone could really like this, but it just wasn't for me, I never bought in to what they were presenting. There was a period between chapter 2-5 or so where I liked where it was going and thought it was telling a compelling story, but it way overstayed its welcome. There were also lots of unanswered questions, which is never satisfying.

Yeeeeeeah it's not as good as the reviews make it out to be. Random doesn't necessarily mean good

It is rare for a game to so thoroughly engross me in a world this immersive, in characters this fascinating, in a narrative this grand. 1000xRESIST manages to somehow be more honest, heartfelt and important than almost any game out there, while at the same time being a sci-fi thriller about clones, global pandemics, aliens, immigration and the collective human experience. It is hard to know where to even start with this one and, truth be told, I don't know how I can do this game justice. So I say, this is a story that warrants an open mind, that warrants you to experience it first hand. 1000xRESIST is an absolute masterclass in narrative design, it makes you feel so many things, it makes you see so many things, it makes you hear so many things, but through it all, it never overwhelms you, it never turns on you, it never resists you, not if you are open towards the story it tells.

Spectacular game on all levels: artistic, narrative, mechanics. An immersive story that makes you reflect on your own choices throughout life. It's also exciting, without falling into clichés. If it were published by any major publisher, it would be acclaimed. However, if it were published by a major publisher, it wouldn't have the freedom to create this masterpiece.

Incredible game. Very unique story and characters. Music is also very fitting and sci-fi esque. Highly recommend. Gameplay mechanics are quite simple but still enjoyable. Map is a bit difficult to navigate Please post the soundtrack online! Six to one

I had no expectations upon starting up 1000xResist for the first time. This is one of the greatest games ever made. A true masterpiece in gaming. Do not fret that it is a "walking simulator" -- this sits atop the genre, passing other classics like What Remains of Edith Finch and Firewatch. I have not felt this SHOCKED by a gaming experience's novelty and uniqueness since Disco Elysium. I remember when I played Disco for the first time, my initial epiphany was "every other game I have ever played has been for children." This game undoubtedly presents an even more original, profound experience; it has left me thinking "every other game I have ever played has lacked the conviction to see its ideas through." This game's greatest strength is that it is bewilderingly and confidently strange. In my mind, it is a sci-fi epic of Vonnegut proportions. Another point of comparison I have for it is the webcomic Homestuck, which itself was a sort of textual precursor to the wildly popular Undertale/Deltarune. 1000xRESIST, like those stories, is aggressively original, elaborate, soulful, and MODERN. This is a new experience. The game takes itself seriously as art just as it is irreverent in the face of previous conceptions of "games as art." Like a high-art novel, the text folds in, on, and over itself -- it meanders in self-referential analysis and milks every theme and idea for all the poetry within. Simultaneously, 1000xRESIST also makes bad knock-knock jokes. There were moments of extreme tension in which levity were deployed -- which never undercut the tension. Such maneuvers were almost jarringly virtuosic. It astonishes me that something so vulnerable and singular was created by a team of people. I felt every emotion playing this game. I was moved to tears on several occasions. I hope this game achieves ascendant success and injects its brilliance into our gaming ecosystem; we would all benefit from more of THIS in the world.

This game is a modern classic. It blends complex, difficult themes into an intoxicating, atomised sci-fi story that's original, bold, and both generous and elusive. An intelligent and thoughtful GOTY list contender for 2024.
