I first tried most bosses, pretty easy game. But it’s just bad, everything is clunky, the animations take so long. If you dont have the patience of a saint youre gonna rage at the animations. The enemies are recycled and reused, the boss design is garbage and messy, the combat is clunky and stiff. Just play sekiro instead, this game ****

A bit of performance issues and the gunplay is pretty bad but i like everything else. good game

if you can forgive the jank and bad gunplay/if you just play stealthy 90% of the time its a great experience that you don't get anywhere else outside of deus ex. Voice acting is a bit meh but ok

I liked mankind divided and human revolution, so naturally i wanted to like this. I gave it many chances but i just dont see it. Its just plain bad and completely outdated. The weapons ****, the story is meh, the missions are boring, etc... human revolution and mankind divided are superior in every way. I dont get why people are praising this, maybe they have nostalgia psychosis. And yes the game was good 25 years ago, but nowadays it just ****.

I beat this game 3 times, one playthrough was charmless and demon bell. I like the game, but it has so many annoying and janky flaws that make it annoying to play. The stealth ****, steatlh deathblow works like 60% of the time, the sprint is horribly janky, the grapple hook is unresponsive, the input buffering is terrible, the camera ****, most hitboxes that arent swords are HORRIBLE, most minibosses **** or are not fun, and half of the main bosses are mediocre or just terrible. I only liked isshin SS and father owl, all other bosses are annoying to replay. didnt like the mob minibosses and the reuse of drunkard enemy. The starting of sprint animation is janky and some badly designed combat boss arenas were annoying. Could have been top 5 combat systems in any video game of all time, but it has way too many annoying flaws that are just a staple of fromsoft at this point. I only played this game because there is no other game that does this, not because its great. Its unique and a niche, not a masterpiece. Its mediocre at best from a design perspective.

Horrible combat system, bad graphics, outdated controls, terrible camera. One point for decent story and characters. I’m just gonna go back to playing sekiro lol

I dont know what they were thinking… i played all the soulsborne games and some of them are one of my favorite games of all time. But this is just dark souls 2 all over again, so many clearly horrible game design decisions and annoying “gotcha” moments purposely made to be annoying, misunderstanding the original soulsborne philosophy. It looks great but the gameplay makes you question if the fromsoft devs have been replaced by some outsourced studio. The progression and exploration is full of repetative, copy pasted trash, most the game is just spent running around empty spaces, most bossfights are horrible compared to dark souls 3, etc.. i dont know how this got released, very disappointed.

If you just run past the actually city part of the dlc its tolerable, otherwise it feels like playing ds2. Too many annoying ganks with annoying enemies that push you, stun you, curse you… i much prefer the base game. Gael good, midir bad

Pretty good, 8/10 because of bad UI design decisions and technical issues (a lot of pop in textures):kick should be custom bindable and input buffering shouldn’t exist, camera should not be this bad in a game from 2016, the boss should not ever leave the screen, lock on system should be omni directional with further range and should work regardless of line of sight, also there should be an option to disable the R3 to center camera, nameless king and king of the storm should be 2 separate boss encounters and aggro range for mobs should be smaller. After two playthroughs the cracks start to show and the general clunkiness starts to get annoying. Why am i constantly getting knocked down by normal enemies? Why am i constantly getting interrupted when attacking? I swear in my 70h of playing my attacks got interrupted at least 10 thousand times. It really starts to just feel bad to play. Also non-boss enemy design is too fast with too many combos that do too much damage. You can easily get completely stun locked to death by just two-three enemies. Cant heal, cant move, cant attack… its happened like 20 times. It doesnt make the game harder, just tedious and annoying

Worst souls game. First half is apparently amazing, but it was kinda meh with a lot of running. The firekeeper soul has a description: “use to increase estus flask”, so of course thousands of people used the item in the menu, but NO actually you’re supposed to magically know that you have to give it to a random npc hidden away somewhere. Intentionally misleading design that permanently hinders your character… people are blinded by nostalgia, sure on release dks1 was unique, but in 2024 there is no reason to play this over all the other souls games. Bad experience

Great for the time, would be a 10/10 if there were no jank issues like maneater boss, also some boss run ups are quite annoying when learning the boss. My first souls game, instantly got addicted and finished it in 4 days. The true gamer soul starts here

The remake ****, the ps3 version is superior. Bluepoint ironically misses the point of the aesthetics of the original and makes it into a cartoony generic style that looks like warcraft. Also archstones are wrong and the fluted armor is ugly. I dont like the font either, too dull. Demon’s soulless

I like the fun gameplay, visuals, atmosphere and sound but rng and roguelike mechanics ruin it for me. I beat the first two bosses in 7 hours and biome 3 just killed my enjoyment. Having to rely on rng for a good build and spending 10-20 minutes just getting back to where you died is soul **** and not fun. If it had soulslike checkpoints and no RNG i would rate it 9/10. A bit of fps drops too

After 60 hours and completing it almost twice i can safely say this is the worst game i have ever played in my entire life

Janky garbage with bad story. Frustrating combat and traversalt that doesnt work half the time.
