The movie itself certainly isn't terrible, the animation is pretty decent and the plot isn't awful though it's pretty basic, so my rating is based mostly on that. However, I will never get over how much I absolutely hate this movie's premise. How do emotions have emotions? like how does any character's character development make sense if they're supposed to represent an emotion? How does Joy feel sad during this film? Look I know I seem like the fun killer here and I usually hate when people are overthinking like that but genuinely I can't with this one I'm so sorry people

I can't justify more than a 6/10 for this movie but it was campy in a way that was weirdly fun and entertaining, making this a surprisingly memorable film. Bonus points for Nicolas Cage

A lot of its humor and formula wasn’t for me when I watched it but not a bad film by any means, still decently enjoyable as a whole. I might give it a rewatch at some point in the future, as my tastes have certainly changed drastically since I last watched this one.
