One of the strangest games I've ever played. First I thought it was a joke, an over-hyped indie junk. But something kept me coming back and then it clicked. I got it. And I was hooked. Beyond all the vaporware weirdness hides a compelling detective game full of twist and turns. Once you start to unravel the deep & dark mysteries of the island(s) and its bizarre inhabitants you just can't stop playing. You just have to find out what the f is going on here. Paradise killer is more than a masterpiece, it's a piece of art.

One of the best games EVER made. I have played the original at the time it came out and now just finished the remastered edition. The puzzles are as challenging and mindbending as ever but always logical (in a Monkey Island kind of way ;-), the remodeled graphics are amazingly beautiful and the new interface is super-intuitive. 10 out of 10. A TOTAL classic.

System Shock meets Santarium, that probably best describes this rare gem ****. If you are a fan of traditional adventure games and if you like ScFi classics like SS, Alien and Event Horizon than this is no brainer. I initially hesitated buying Stasis due to some mixed reviews, especially with the regards to the story. Don't make the same mistake. The story is top notch, the puzzles are fun and the atmosphere is absolutely gorgeous .Rich isometric graphics combined with amazing sound effects make this one of the densest games I have ever played. To think that all this has been created more or less by a single person (Chris Bischoff) is just mind boggling. Total 10/10. Get it NOW !

One of the most amazing gamed I've ever played ... and I've played A LOT! Don't be fooled by the 1990s graphics style. This is one true gem of an adventure game. Everything gels perfectly together: the evocative storyline, the believable characters, the smooth dialogue and the puzzles. Ahhhh, those magnificent puzzles. Logical, clever, imaginative and well woven into the story - they just hit the sweet spot. Sometimes challenging, but never unfair and always solvable. The production value and the quality of this game is top notch. The interface is both innovative (featuring some really brand new ideas) and highly intuitive. The voice acting is among the best I've heard in a long time. All this coming from a very small independent studio, who obviously know what they are doing and who put all their love into the development. Congratulations, XII Games! And special kudos to Vince Twelve. More than a surprise hit, this is a veritable classic on a par with genre leaders like Sam & Max (original), Blade Runner, Monkey Island, Grim Fandango and Gabriel Knight.

Brilliant game! The qusts highly original and very rewarding. There is a true sense of adventure and exploration. The weapons are meaty and the writing is abolutely spot on. Great job, Bethesda!
