Mad Max6
Oct 29, 2024
A low-budget dystopian action film set in Australia. It was the most profitable film ever made at the time and held that title for two decades. Despite the use of an old camera and a lack of proper editing facilities, the chase scenes and stunts are still astonishing. The Australian accent and terminology can be difficult to understand but add a unique vibe for viewers. The motorcycle gang is truly terrifying, with each member having a distinct personality. The stunts are the highlight of the film, and you can feel their originality except for the eye-popping scenes. This was only Mel Gibson's second film, but you can already see glimpses of his talent. The characters of Goose, Toecutter, and Johnny the Boy are memorable and well-acted. As the title suggests, Max isn’t "mad" in this movie, and even when he’s angry, he mostly keeps it under control. Overall, it's a true independent movie with a rebellious spirit.

The Sword in the Stone6
Oct 20, 2024
The medieval setting combined with modern references is an interesting aspect of this movie, along with some memorable characters and humorous dialogues. Merlin is a weird and eccentric time-traveling wizard, while Wart is a naive and innocent boy. The character development of Mad Madam Mim is minimal, as she's introduced almost at the climax of the film, but she steals the show from her very first line: 'Sounds like someone's sick. How lovely. I do hope it's serious. Something dreadful.' The wizard battle is the best scene in the **** voice casting is not up to the mark. The change in Wart's voice is noticeable, and giving a British boy a Brooklyn accent feels out of place. The exaggerated Cockney accents of many characters are over the top. The animation looks cheap, with poorly animated backgrounds, and most parts look **** slapstick comedy in this movie is below par, with the wolf scenes being repetitive and annoying. The film fails to adapt the Arthurian legend, focusing primarily on the relationship between Arthur and Merlin, and not much about sword in the stone. The squirrel scenes do not feel sensible, and the sad ending spoils the overall mood of the film. The songs are very short, and the added dialogue between them makes it less engaging, 'Higitus Figitus' being the only memorable one.Overall, this is the weakest animated movie from Walt Disney's lifetime. In all aspects, the film feels unbalanced, some parts are interesting, while others are quite boring.

Die Hard8
Oct 16, 2024
A John McTiernan movie with a brilliant script, beautiful cinematography and quality sound design. A thriller with great action sequences and funny catchphrases.
John McClane is a rare, relatable badass cop in the history of cinema with a great sense of humour. Hans Gruber is charismatic and one of the classic villains of all time. The film had a great supporting cast, and almost everyone on screen delivered memorable and strong performances.
The theme of the movie revolves around the challenges and conflicts of an ordinary family man in an extraordinary situation. The only flaw in the movie is how the FBI agents were portrayed, it's too dumb.
Overall, it's a unique action movie that not only defined the genre but was also revolutionary.

Point Break8
Oct 14, 2024
A very well scripted and directed movie, with excellent cinematography and editing. The bromance between the hero and villain, as well as the romance between the hero and heroine, is beautifully visualized in the movie. The action sequences, like surfing, skydiving, the bank robbery and the iconic foot chase are masterfully crafted. There is excellent chemistry between Swayze and Reeves, and the emotional connection between their characters is well established. In a film, it’s very rare for a villain to be as good as or greater than the hero. Lori Petty did a decent job as Tyler Ann and Gary Busey as Pappas gave a memorable performance.
Despite being intellectually shallow, the male-driven, testosterone-fueled movie, through a female lens, gives viewers a fresh and distinct vibe.

The Fast and the Furious6
Oct 14, 2024
The plot is similar to the 1991 cult classic Point Break. The backstories are scattered, and filled with over-the-top racing sequences and action scenes. This film feels like a standalone; at the time, they didn’t seem to be thinking about a sequel. The background music fails to make an impact and is often noisy and distracting on many occasions. Some scenes, like hijacking a truck with Honda Civics to steal VHS players, feel illogical and foolish. The investigator's office scenes are boring and annoying due to poor acting and dialogue.
Walker and Diesel give average performances, bouncing off one another but unable to convey a deeper emotional level. Rodriguez is particularly bad with her constant frowning and poor one-liners, while Brewster delivers a decent performance. Overall, an unoriginal undercover plot that focuses more on car racing and an unrelatable underground culture with slutty women.

Mission: Impossible7
Oct 3, 2024
A spy movie with realistic action scenes and good cinematography. However, the plot is quite difficult to follow, and you need to pay full attention. The dialogue is also challenging to keep up with. The script is not well written, some scenes are confusing, and there are noticeable goofs. The depiction of the internet is outdated and often illogical.
Ving Rhames is a good cast as Luther. The movie has some iconic scenes, the Langley heist is the standout, and the climactic train sequence is also very thrilling.
Overall, a Brian De Palma film, not for the fans of the original series because the teamwork dynamic has been replaced by a one-man show focused on Tom Cruise.

101 Dalmatians7
Oct 1, 2024
A simple family movie filled with fun and adventure, featuring adorable characters. The character design, voice casting, and dialogues are noteworthy. It’s the first Disney movie with an intro scene that really sets the tone for the film. The story is set in present day London, and the animation reflects this contemporary style. The puppies are animated beautifully; despite their large numbers, we can still sense their individual differences and personalities.Cruella is a crazy, obnoxious, and fragile woman who is both glamorous and hideous. The excellent voice acting makes her one of the most infamous villains of all time.Roger, Anita, and Nanny are polite and lovable characters while Pongo is strong and determined. Colonel, Sergeant Tibbs, and Captain are very funny. The slapstick comedies of the crooks, Jasper and Horace, are fun to watch. There’s a different approach to the music, which worked positively, and the song ‘Cruella De Vil’ is a classic. The 'Twilight Bark' scene is the best in the movie, and the church wedding scene is also animated beautifully.

Sleeping Beauty7
Sep 28, 2024
The animation looks different, with more detailed backgrounds resembling medieval **** three fairies are generous, and Maleficent stands out as one of the all-time villains, with her evil and commanding presence enhanced by excellent voice acting featuring an upper-class British accent. However, the main characters are underdeveloped and have minimal screen time. Apart from Maleficent, the character design falls short. The 'skumps' scene is very **** music is good, especially during the climax fight scenes, and the song 'Once Upon a Dream' is a timeless **** side characters are given more prominence and the courtship scene is very short.Overall, compared to other Disney fairy tales, the movie feels somewhat unbalanced.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen4
Sep 27, 2024
Despite the good CGI and action scenes, the film remains boring due to a poor script and exposition issues. There are nonsensical shifts in scenes, intentions, emotions, and information. In the first movie, Sam carried the Allspark, but in this film he touches a piece of it, everything becomes chaotic. Compared to the previous film, Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox delivered better performances, but the side characters were annoying, especially the mother and roommate Leo, who were **** comic relief doesn't work, and the emotional scenes fail to leave any impact. Poor dialogue and weird scenes like the college lecture hall, dog sex, Turturro’s ass and robot humping, make this already lengthy movie a miserable one. Overall it's a badly written and poorly directed visual noise.

Lady and the Tramp8
Sep 18, 2024
Disney's first Cinemascope animated movie, produced by its own distribution company, explores a mature theme and is the first without magical or fantasy elements. The animation is gorgeous, and the entire story is told through canine characters and their perspective on society. The dialogues are humorous and memorable. Lady is charming and innocent, while Tramp is cunning and talkative. Jock and Trusty are honest and caring characters; you’ll love Jock's dialogues in his Scottish accent, and Trusty is an old, absentminded character with a Southern accent who loves to share his memories. Throughout the film, we hear a diverse range of accents among the **** music is good, “Bella Notte” being the standout song. “We Are Siamese” is catchy, and the wicked cats in that song are really scary. The best sequence in the film is the spaghetti and meatball dinner at Tony’s, highlighted by the iconic accidental spaghetti kiss and Lady's reaction, which is considered one of the best scenes in film history. Overall, it’s a heartwarming story about compassion, family, and friendship.

Predator9
Sep 16, 2024
A John McTiernan classic. The film moves at a terrific pace, filled with suspense and thrilling action sequences. Almost every shot keeps you on the edge of your seat. Arnold Schwarzenegger’s charisma and screen presence enhance the film, but, like in his other movies, he never overshadows the film due to its pure **** script is great, and the casting is excellent. It’s one of the coolest action films ever made, although the first act features hardly any action sequences but it starts, it doesn’t stop until the end. The location is a major attraction and blends seamlessly with the story. The cinematography and editing are noteworthy, and the visual effects still look impressive. The artwork is brilliant, and the Predator’s costume design is trendsetting. Alan Silvestri’s score is one of the **** dialogues are very good, and the one-liners are evergreen. The last half-hour of the film features almost no dialogue, which highlights the brilliance of the screenplay. It’s one of my favorite films and the one I have watched the most.

Dark Phoenix5
Sep 15, 2024
The movie follows a plot similar to the 2006 prequel X-Men: The Last Stand, featuring the same characters but with different personalities and a confusing timeline. The characters lack clear motivations, and it feels like the filmmakers simply hired the X-Men characters without knowing what to do. Lack of intensity, no real story to tell, and the setup feels familiar, with many scenes simply repeating those from previous X-Men movies. The reshot train sequence looks like it’s from an entirely different **** villain and her team hardly have anything to do with the film. Overall, the worst X-Men movie, with a poorly executed script and direction. The only positive aspect is Hans Zimmer's score.
Sep 13, 2024
Transformers6
Sep 13, 2024
The character development in the film is weak, especially with the Decepticons, who are significantly underdeveloped. The side characters receive more attention than the Transformers themselves. The film is overloaded with characters and subplots, including military personnel, an air force team, analysts, Sector 7, annoying parents, and even a **** main characters' performances are flat, and the romantic scenes lack impact. Steve’s music is heavily influenced by his mentor Hans Zimmer, with some parts closely resembling the Batman Begins theme. The action scenes are frustrating due to poor cutting methods, excessive zooming, and shaky cam. The colors are oversaturated, and the image resolution in some sequences is low, making it difficult to distinguish between Transformer characters during action scenes. The dialogue is average, and the one-liners did not work.Despite its budget, the CGI work is well done. Overall, the film is a one-time, watchable popcorn movie with hollow characters.

Peter Pan8
Sep 9, 2024
The movie features great character design, a good script, and excellent voice acting. The characters are very unique in their style, including even the side characters like Nana and the crocodile. In this film, there are no strictly good or bad characters; instead, they all display a range of emotions, including love, anger, sympathy, and jealousy. You really come to love Neverland, as well as Peter Pan, Tinkerbell, Captain Hook, and the Lost Boys. Wendy is charming and innocent, caring much like a mother. The expressions of Hook, Smee, and Tinkerbell are well animated, and Tinkerbell’s pixie dust effects are also impressive. The pirates are hilarious and goofy, and the Red Men are cool. The Darling siblings, John and Michael, are adorable, and the portrayal of Michael’s teddy bear deserves special mention. The music is decent, with the songs, especially "Following the Leader" and "What Made the Red Man Red," sticking in your head. Slapstick comedy works really well, especially in the scenes involving Hook, Smee, and the crocodile, and timing is excellent, and the chemistry between these characters is brilliant. Even though the source material is somewhat dark, the filmmakers did a wonderful job making the film more enjoyable and funny, resulting in a better adaptation. The movie features energetic performances, catchy dialogues, family emotions, and great action sequences

Spider-Man 28
Sep 4, 2024
The movie is a dramatic and highly emotional experience, driven by engaging storytelling and well developed characters. Sam Raimi directed it beautifully, and the screenplay is excellent. The dialogues are well-crafted, with situational humour. The action sequences and visual effects are impressive, with the train action scene standing out as the best in the film. The train-stopping scene is an iconic moment in Spider-Man movies.Alfred Molina’s performance as Dr. Octavius, a sympathetic villain, is exceptional. Tobey Maguire’s acting is also commendable; his portrayal of Spider-Man’s transformation from superhero to ordinary man is the main highlight of the film. MJ and Aunt May also give better performances in this sequel.Danny Elfman’s score is a major attraction, seamlessly adapting to different situations throughout the film. Peter Parker’s line, "This is really heavy," captures the film’s theme of life’s struggles and the choices and sacrifices we make.Overall, it's the best Spider-Man movie of all time and one of the greatest comic book movies ever made.

Alice in Wonderland8
Sep 1, 2024
Alice is a very likable character, and her British accent sets her apart from other characters in the movie. All the Wonderland characters are memorable, thanks to excellent voice acting and beautiful animation design. The Mad Tea Party scene is the highlight of the film, and the "Unbirthday" song is delightfully goofy and mad. The Hatter, March Hare, and White Rabbit are especially funny, and the Queen is hilarious. The dialogues are catchy and memorable too. While there are many songs in the film, not all of them are engaging. The Caterpillar's scene, where he smokes a hookah, is rather odd and could have been omitted. The Cheshire Cat is a unique character, and his line, “Most everyone’s mad here,” sums up the film’s essence. In Alice's words, “If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense.” This surrealism is showcased at its best in the movie.

Cinderella7
Aug 31, 2024
Brilliantly scripted, with excellent voice acting and animation, particularly in the shadow-changing scenes, which look amazing. The floating bubble and Cinderella’s transformation are standout animated scenes. The music is also good, the songs 'A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes' is pleasant and nostalgic, while 'Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo' is catchy and fun.
All the antagonist characters are well-developed, with Lady Tremaine as a cunning and evil villain. Drizella, Anastasia, and Lucifer are irritating in their roles. Jaq and Gus provide plenty of humor, but their interactions with Lucifer are reminiscent of Tom and Jerry slapstick. Some of these scenes are a bit lengthy and unnecessary, which affects the movie's flow.
Prince Charming is underdeveloped, which makes the third act less impactful, and the title character's screen time is surprisingly limited considering the overall length of the movie.

Bambi8
Aug 28, 2024
The first Disney animated movie without a fantasy element, this film is a portrait of the life cycle. It tells a realistic story that captures the emotions of childhood, motherhood, friendship, romance, fatherhood, fear, and family. Thumper is a very funny character and Flower is simply adorable. Owl is mature and very likable. The animation is gorgeous, especially during the forest fire scenes. Man as the off-screen villain is a brilliant idea that adds an element of mystery. The depiction of seasonal changes, combined with beautiful orchestration, is wonderful. The song 'Little April Shower' is the best in the movie and is beautifully visualized. This is a timeless masterpiece with great storytelling.

Logan8
Aug 27, 2024
A character-driven movie with dramatic and emotional storytelling. The film is dark and blends multiple genres, including western, film noir, superhero, and a road trip vibe in the second act. The action scenes are intense, with a lot of bloodshed. Logan, Charles Xavier, and Laura are well-established characters and acted very well. The film is beautifully written and directed, standing out from other X-Men movies with its distinct tone and minimal superhero elements. Its structure even resembles Terminator in some ways. The X-Men comic book scenes are done in a clever way. However, the villain is underdeveloped and the casino fight scene is the best in the movie.
Aug 26, 2024
Dumbo7
Aug 26, 2024
Simple and surreal animation with colorful frames, the movie offers a pleasant story filled with funny moments and great emotional scenes. Dumbo is a very cute character, and the mouse is a responsible, good friend of hers. The song 'Baby Mine' is very good and beautifully captures the emotions of motherhood. The mouse's dialogue with the crows is the best scene in the movie and is so touching. The Pink Elephant Parade portion was done very well, combining music and animation in a unique way. Although the film has fewer dialogues, what we do get is commendable. The idea of babies being delivered by a bird is a bit silly, and those scenes make little sense. Overall, it's a decent and charming little film that kids will really enjoy.

Fantasia7
Aug 25, 2024
A concert feature combining classical music with animation, it represents a bold experimental approach by Disney. It’s not for children and not everyone's cup of tea. The film consists of eight animated segments. The Sorcerer's Apprentice being the only one with a real story and animated excellently. The Rite of Spring section, which depicts biological evolution on Earth, is a commendable effort for its time, though some parts are a bit slow. The Nutcracker Suite segment, focused on the changing seasons, features marvelous music that evokes emotion. The Pastoral Symphony segment combines different animation styles and a variety of characters. The main confusion after watching this movie is how to react to it. In my opinion, it's a one-time watch and a unique experience.
Aug 24, 2024
Pinocchio7
Aug 24, 2024
Logically, the movie is very confusing. The cat doesn't talk, but the fox does and dresses like a man, yet it's considered a miracle when Pinocchio does these things. There’s no character development, and everything happens suddenly. The film is too dark and very scary for children. The villain characters appear pathetic. My biggest problem with the movie is the Pinocchio school-going scenario and the scenes inside the whale.Technically, the movie is very good, the animation of the Blue Fairy, the underwater scenes and Pinocchio itself are excellent. The music and songs are good, especially the title song 'When You Wish Upon A Star,' which is a classic. Jiminy doesn’t look like a cricket and is horny, but the dialogues are good and funny. Every time Jiminy goes outside with Pinocchio, who keeps getting lost, it irritates me.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs9
Aug 22, 2024
The simplicity and making quality is the speciality of the first full length Disney animated movie. The innocence and kindness of the snow white, lazy and carefree life of dwarfs and a selfish villain all told in fascinating manner. A basic story with minimal character development, I think the only developed character is grumpy, but the film covers all it's negative aspects and still feels like a real fairy tale movie. It's one of the most profitable movies in the history and a iconic one. Still enjoyable and doesn't feel like a 1937 movie, so It's a timeless classic.

The Princess and the Frog7
Aug 20, 2024
Back to the traditional animation is good and looks fresh. Really funny with catchy dialogues with cultural significances and verity of accents. Tiana and Naveen is good, louis is funny and ray is very likable. The villain and other characters had potential but not developed well. Randy Newman's jazz music gives a freshness to the movie. Evangeline the emotionally touching one.

Beauty and the Beast7
Aug 19, 2024
The perfect fairy tale movie. The animation, characters and songs are classic stuff. Belle is the most beautiful and attractive female character in the animation movies ever. The song 'tale as old as time, Song as old as rhyme Beauty and the beast' is breath taking one and for ever.

X-Men: Apocalypse6
Aug 18, 2024
CGI work is really good and contains cool action scenes. The film has pacing issues and narration problem. Newly introduced actors are not upto the mark. Apocalypse is the biggest problem for the movie, the character and acting is not worked. Mystique is coming and going through out this film that makes really irritating. Magnito had a great time in it and quick silver too. Repetition of scenes, dialogues and situations from earlier xmen movies makes the movie really boring.
Aug 18, 2024
Mulan8
Aug 18, 2024
Good depth in characters with excellent music and good songs especially 'ill make a man'. different from other cliched Disney movies and characters, good action and emotional scenes with comic relief. Good adaptation of the story and culture with strong dialogues. Mushu, cricket, horse and sidekick characters are very funny. Villain character not well established. Climax is little bit rushed.

Aladdin5
Aug 17, 2024
Failed to adapt cultural significance of the plot and language, through out slapstick comedy better suited for children. Pronunciation of arabic names and words looks odd. Abu is the only comic relief. Genie as Robin is good but too much improvisation that looks nonsense in some scenes. Too much modern day references kills the genuineness of the story. Songs are not catchy but music is fine and animation is ok but too dark. Afterall illogical rewrites to the Aladdin legend.

Tangled8
Aug 16, 2024
The most expensive animation movie till date, CGI work excellent , good characters with great emotional background and the chemistry between them is really worked, maximus steal the show and Pascal is also very good, good songs but not effective as other classic Disney movies and voice acting also not upto the mark. action, adventure and comic reliefs are really worked with numerous plot holes, villain is great.

good characters, casting and direction, Robert Downey`s transformation as iroman is excellent, perfect balance of humour, action and drama, Terrance Howard as rhody is good.
