One Battle After Another9

This movie was a shake up from expectations. The dialogue, comedic and theatric timing was really well edited. Teyana Taylor was snubbed for her Oscar. I didn’t see this at first due to her overwhelming beauty and commanding presence on the screen. But second time I watched this, I really appreciated how she concealed Perfidia’s inner turmoil.

Meh. I wanted to see this because of the raving reviews and Oscar win for lead actress. Was a bit of a bust.

I’m happy that this movie was recognized for its incredible cinematography. There’s first time I watched this was good, but second play through was even better.

I was cackling throughout this movie. Some scenes were pretty gruesome and hard to watch. There’s an homage to triangle of sadness in this story which makes you question who to root for by the end.

I didn’t know how much I needed this movie! Saw it on an airplane and it was absolutely charming and the perfect length. I’m not sure of the impact this will have on the gig economy, but the challenges are very relevant.

Another celebrity bait movie. I was confused why rotten tomatoes score was so high and have now converted to Metacritic. The plot twist for this movie is fun, definite conversation stirrer. But after that the movie gets a bit boring.

Muy aburrida, celebrity bait with dragging scenes. Adding more characters to fill requirement

The trailer didn’t do this movie justice! It made me so happy to see such an original but relatable story that’s funny and inspiring. Definitely more inventive than Avatar 3.

This movie is a love letter to the time period it was set in. I was completely drawn into the story - would’ve been my Oscar pick for best picture! I was lucky to catch this in the theater which made the experience more immersive.
