This game is discount discount modded skyrim. With how many sales this game has compared to actual A tier games no wonder people think VR games are nothing-burgers and they have nothing to play.

This game is worse than tomb raider by a mile. It's worse than days gone even. The only reason people praise this game is because it baits you into feeling sad? See this person? what if they were real nice, and then we killed them. woah. amazing. go kill zombies. #deep

I love it. some artistic failures with lightning changes make this remaster a 9 instead of a 10. otherwise, great. the actual game is still 10/10. the remaster, even though better, is a 9/8 for the job it was trying to do

the game has solid gameplay loop, but after playing hades, this feels so hollow. like 20 steps back maybe I just need to accept that great games are rare and most games are just filler

A great soundtrack and simple yet hard puzzles. Exploration could be better, and I wish there were more music tracks (they're amazing) If you expect an indie game (for their obvious flaws), it's a 9. the puzzles are hard as hell! ok just finished the game. this type of endings rubs me the wrong way. downed to 8. left a bad taste in my mouth instead of a feeling of accomplishment.

So far what I'm seeing is that the strategic parts of the game are somewhat boring and feel like work, but the main part of the game which is 85% of it, (the actual fighting) is very well designed and very fun. watching a turn execute perfectly after you predicted the enemy completely is one of the most satisfying things ever

This game is probably the worst game ever that I have given a score of 10/10. There is so much to hate... But if you ignore **** parts (melee combat) and install some (about 30) mods... This is one of the greatest experiences in gaming ever. I look forward to one day playing a game as good as mass effect or Witcher 3 in VR but until that day comes, this is great enough!

Good: Interesting premise nice bow mechanics. Good Voice Acting Bad: Lots of poor gameplay design choices (typing for example) gets boring quickly boring exploration I ragequitted after half the game because invisible enemies were shooting at me and I couldn't progress without restarting the whole mission.

A very good game with two Major flaws. 1. You can learn all the tactics needed for the game by the 10th-20th expdedition. the game is about 100 expeditions long. The great rouge like elements are halted by the over prolonged length of the game which transforms it into a grindfest. 2. YOU CAN UNLOCK THE ROUGE LIKE ELEMENT OF THE GAME ONLY AFTER YOU HAVE FINISHED IT. unlike ftl, each run doesn't feel unique. it's just the same thing. This game can be excelent. but it isn't. The dev seems to listen to the community though, so if I were you I'd enjoy this potential masterpiece in a few months, dlcs, and patches.

This is more of a summary of other reviews because people keep rating 0/10: +This is a great game in the tactical sense and why professional reviews love it. -Graphic design is bad according to most opinions. and isn't as good as in trailers. i think most people don't like the simplistic futuristic stuff. me too. -a lot of optimization issues and some people recommend waiting for patches before playing. I wait for patches anyway because crashing the game on ironman can be a serious pain.

This is a great game which really deserves a 10 for it's gameplay. the story is good but feels teenage oriented. but the story is not the reason you should play the game. you should play the game cause it has one of the best turn based rpg tactics ever. haven't enjoyed something like this in a long time. maybe da:o? anyway, the reasons i give this a 9 and not a 10 are: **** game has a pacing issue. after initial fights there is waaaaaaaay to much talking before u should start more fights if u play completionist. 2. there are still some really annoying bugs. mainly the chat system is crap. i have noticed 0 bugs playing single player but playing with a friend i had to reload the game about 10-20 times during a full playthrough to fix some aspect of the game that crashed. (e.g.: showing the player who joined the host have 0 ability points in everything except personality). nothing gamebreaking, unless ironman with a buddy. but you shouldn't multiplayer ironman. ironman is for single.

This game is unique. I have never played something like it. which is something it should get points for. being unique however is not a synonym for greatness. This is an educational story, with a lesson many people in my generation need to learn. It could be a great educational tool. As a game I would give this game a 4. Since it is simply not fun. it lacks even the enjoyment of exploration the Stanley parable had. it is, 95% linear. It is possible though that the reason i didn't find much interest in the story is because the lesson it tries to teach is one i have already learned. this reason is also probably why so many reviews call this game pretentious. I very much recommend this game to fans of the Stanley parable, and people that feel they need external validation for being happy, and I hope the creator's next work will have more appeal for me.

a very well told mystery horror story. a not to clarify other reviews: this game uses philosophical theme to amplify the horror of it. when u are not sure about anything it makes the game better :). the talos principle is the other way around. it uses gameplay to amplify the ideas behind it (and actually refers to many philosophers). this game uses philosophy to amplify the gameplay. don't read spoilers. u'll enjoy it more. was actually scared at several moments. amnesia was scarier to me. this game is better overall though.

gameplay is really great. some puzzles took me 30 min. (i might be stupid). the story concept is cool but the execution isn't as good as the original. it is missing the voice tapes which was the best part for me from ttp. crucial to immersion. overall if u like the game u should definitely get this for the challenge. it's much harder and very worth the price for content. just don't expect great story and you will enjoy what story there is. i suspect a few things in this dlc are a teaser for the next game. PS: to have extra fun google easter eggs XD

amazing concept, and story. it is really rare to find a game that debates philosophy without it feeling forced. (thought many texts are too unrelated. the gameplay is quite fun but too many puzzles feel like tutorial. the dlc RtG has some mindbending puzzles. the voice over is amazing. soundtrack is good. but fitting.

i'd give it an 8.5. it's a really good game and if u like mark of the ninja or any turn based tactics u should get it. after playing a lot i managed to break the game in endless plus mod. i got 8 aoe stealth items. basically making all my team permanently immune. i wish it was harder, and had more content.

this is the type of games that have an insane amount of flaws but still manages to be great in it's on way. there are some more lengthy reviews u should read. just two tips: don't be afraid to cheat and use walkthrough. though most of the pazzles are intuitive in a good way, some of them aren't. don't get over frustrated. also, read 50%-70% of the stuff. if u notice something is boring u, skip it. i honestly didn't care about the **** love triangle blah blah

first game ever i wanted to finish badly for the mystery of the story but couldn't for how much i didn't enjoy the gameplay. the pazzles are so random and boring (make food for your animal for example) i just stopped playing after the 10th time i needed to look for a walkthrough to continue playing. this game should have been a movie. even a silent movie. much lost potential.

i would have given it a 10 had it not been bioware. it really is great. both gameplay and story is great. why 9? because great is normal for bioware, and the only reason it feels like a 10 is because we've been used to bioware transitioning into gameplay/loot focused mmorpgry (decent) or general lazy writing. (unconsitantly great and meh). trespasser is very well told and directed. may bioware make their next game bioware level with bioware attitude. hf. also, protip, do not read spoiler.

this game has really good potential and is very enjoyable. however, it falls in the most important part a rouge like can fall. replay value. u gain very little by doing more playthroughs and there aren't enough events. after finishing ftl once i wanted to finish it many more times (on hard). after finishing this once (took me 4 tries), though enjoyable, i didn't want to play again. wait for some dlc or expansion. good game. not worth the money.
