This is literally one of the best movies of all time and THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIE EVER! I watch this every year on Christmas and it never gets old. No CG BS special effects. Every woke AF Hollywood exec should have to watch this to see what makes an awesome movie.

At first I rolled my eyes, thinking this is some sort of woke anti-police propaganda. Then I watched it and it is literally the best thing I have seen in a while. I did some research online as I found it hard to beleive this sort of thing happens only to find it does happen. I am as libertarian as can be and the government stealing your property is atrocious and needs to stop.

Megalopolis1
Oct 1, 2024
In an era where science fiction has the potential to provoke deep thought, challenge societal norms, and offer captivating escapism, Megalopolis does none of these things. Instead, it delivers a catastrophic exercise in tedium that manages to fail on nearly every level of cinematic art. Directed by the legendary Francis Ford Coppola—once a paragon of groundbreaking filmmaking—this film represents a shocking decline in quality, both in narrative and technical execution. It is a heartbreaking reminder that even the greatest can lose their way. From the opening scene, it’s painfully clear that any semblance of a coherent plot is absent. Megalopolis meanders aimlessly, dragging the audience through a barrage of unclear character motivations, mumbling dialogue, and hollow spectacle. The bizarre powers granted to the characters are never explained, nor do they carry any significance beyond their visual absurdity. We’re left wondering why we should care about any of these poorly developed, unrelatable figures.Visually, Megalopolis is nothing short of a disaster. Rather than awe-inspiring effects that immerse the viewer in a grand futuristic world, the film subjects us to laughably bad CGI, reminiscent of a low-budget production rather than a movie helmed by a director of Coppola’s stature. The heavy-handed use of drug-induced, hypnotic camera work is not only ineffective but downright unbearable, making it feel as though the audience is being tortured rather than entertained. Instead of adding intrigue or tension, these techniques render the film nearly **** perhaps most damning is Coppola’s apparent obsession with some vague, preachy political narrative. What was clearly meant to be a bold commentary on society instead comes across as muddled, incoherent, and utterly without substance. Megalopolis strains for profundity but fails to say anything of value, leaving the audience bewildered and disengaged. It’s a film that believes it’s making a statement, yet the statement itself is so obscured by the director’s pretension that it becomes **** disappointment of Megalopolis is particularly acute given Coppola’s legendary filmography. This is not just a poor film, but a deeply troubling one, marking what feels like the lowest point in the career of a once-great artist. In his quest to create a visionary epic, Coppola has instead delivered a bloated, incoherent mess that squanders the audience’s time and **** sum, Megalopolis is a disaster on a historic level. A film that will be remembered not for its ambition, but for its profound failure. For those who had hoped for a return to form from one of cinema’s greatest directors, the result is not just disappointing—it’s heartbreaking. I wish I could have the two hours of my life back.

This is almost too painful to watch it is so bad. First off, this captures almost none of the Humor of WallStreetBets and what it was like to watch this saga unfold. Somehow they took a story about a bunch of non-woke degens taking on wall street and turned it into yet another woke AF story. (sorry netflix, don't want or care for the mixed race lesbian couple, when they probably never existed in the first place). Don't woke morons realize they vote the same as wall street? Wall Street likes easy money policies because their real asset values go up from all the money printing and the poor get poorer as all the inflation destroys their stanard of living.

This is the result of a “What if we re-made Seven as a Batman movie?” It was entertaining but get’s completely ruined with cringworthy dialogue by elitist woke snob Kravitz about “White Privilege.” Is it just me, or does it seems extremely bizarre to be lectured by the privileged daughter of a rock star who has played the race and victim card her whole life. Why is this woke social justice crap necessary in a Hollywood movie? Is it possible to just be entertained without being annoyed and subjected to the injustice de jour whining that is the modern day **** modus operandi. Would have been a great movie, but she is latterly like a fly in your milk.

Complete and total garbage. Multicultural Social Justice propaganda garbage. Asians are backstabbers, whites are wimpy or evil. No thanks. One lame cliché after another, there is no intensity when the Zombies pop up because we dont care about these cardboard cliché characters. Way to sell out Snyder.

I would really enjoy this if a lot more if Disney would simply try to make an entertaining movie and not try to indoctrinate us into their political beliefs. I think Will Smith did a great job, laughed really hard, but every time the feminist blah blah came up, it just was really distracting. Both the added songs where propaganda rubbish. Overall I was entertained, but it would be a higher score if Disney could follow its own advice when it come to including their politics in our movies just “Let it go”

You already know most of what is going to happen by watching the preview. This was horribly predictable, boring to the point of cringe worthy. Any director that talks about his Easter eggs doesn’t get it. I am sorry, this was soo bad. I absolutely loved the original and the Jurassic World. They had original plot, this one was full of clichés and a meandering plot. There was no story here. Just a bunch of scenes that seemed like they were filmed for the sake of the preview. Frustratingly bad.

Very well written. The beginning is a bit slow and sappy, but once the action starts, it gets real interesting very fast and never let’s up. I like this more than the original one.

I am not sure what kool-aid the critics are drinking or what movie they watched, but this is no inception, star wars, matrix or avatar. It is a poorly acted, predictable, fake looking two hour bloated mess of constant clichés. I rented this on Itunes as I wanted to see what all the fuss is about. I was honestly bored for the 1st half of the movie and stopped watching it, as it was almost too painful to watch. The only thing redeeming was Anthony Serkis. I watched the 2nd half a day later and it got more interesting. I am happy that some people love it. I would rank it above Fantastic Four and well below Dead Pool. As for the critics. What a joke. A score of 88? Seriously? This movie is plagued by all the things you rip other movies apart for. So you all are a bunch of hypocrites. Are you giving affirmative action bonus points to justify your score? I am all for Black Super Hero movies, but they should be good. Hell write an awesome superman who is black and let him save a city by fighting to the death. I will pay to see that. But I don’t need him ever talking about slavery and oppression or hearing the racist words like “white boy”. No thank you.

I was surprised how much they changed. It is good fun, but sometimes it feels like you are on the movie set with them. I liked the plot of the book better, and though I understand why they changed it, they certainly didn't have to change almost everything. I was entertained, though felt like I would have loved it more if I hadn’t read the book first.

This movie was fairly predictable, the visuals where okay. Emma Watson was entertaining. What sort of ruins the movie for me is Disney Executives and their incessant need to promote their leftist agenda. I know they support gay rights and transgender equality, but why do you need to put obvious Easter eggs in our children's movies? I am not really for or against these things, it is more that I notice what you have done and its breaks the 4th wall so to speak. Please don't insult my intelligence. If you want to make a movie about a gay or transgender heroine, please be my guest. That would say a lot more to me than your annoying and passive aggressive current approach.

Everything feel so fake. I was so disappointed. I saw the positive reviews, and I don’t know what I was thinking having any hope from the director or F&F whose target audience is high school drop outs. This isn’t even 2nd grade science text book level sci-fi. There is nothing new. Nothing seems remotely plausible, alien ships destroyed by music?? Motorcycles in space?? Seriously??!! The alien ship looked totally CG, Krull is a total cliché. The level of suspension of disbelief required is so astounding, I think you probably need to be on drugs to enjoy this – which Justin Lin is counting on. I am disappointed because I really liked JJ’s 2009 version, which was extremely entertaining. This however was just lame, feel made by like it was made by committee. I couldn’t figure out why the Army of Liberal Arts Majoring Critics loved this movie so much, but now it is obvious. It promotes Hollywood’s values so they overlook its faults. I really question Hollywood’s need to rub their politics in my face in one of the opening sequences. Yes, I agree with you!! But I don’t need to be lectured about homosexual equality in my Star Trek movie, because I know that is what you are doing and it is extremely distracting. Might I suggest you make a separate movie about Asian Homosexuals raising a girl and all the discrimination they endure and let me for a second escape CNN for a moment and let me enjoy a star trek movie, something Hollywood seems incapable of creating anymore.
