This is what happens, when you let a guy get full power, and that guy has no business, in writing or in any creative part. This is gonna be an honest, full on spoiler review. Part 1 was about, Ellie and Joel's journey and bringing Ellie to the hospital because she's immune. In Part 2 there is just nothing about this anymore. Why? Because neil had this revenge plot since the beginning, but he was stopped in time. That's why part 1 is actually good, funny, and just an amazing game.Part 2 forgets, who the characters actually were, and quickly kills them off. Part 1 Joel: They are not even hurt. Part 2 Joel: Hey this is Joel, this is my social security number, we live in Jackson, and yes, you all are randoms, but we trust you and I'm gonna stand in the middle of the room for some reason! Then they execute Joel, abby gets so hot she has to take off her coat. abby never shows, any care for her friends, or any sign of trauma. She just goes and goes. Ellie has many signs of trauma and she griefs Joel and gets shocked by Jessie's death. And another trauma at the farm.Ellies biggest fear was to end up alone, but she goes from the farm, to get "revenge" basically "all in" on abby and at the end she doesn't kill her.... Why? Because, that's neils character. "Fun" fact: 90% of testers all killed abby so they removed that option... this is literally the opposite of game testers meaning... Ellies part is decent, enjoyable, but kinda repetitive after a while. I wonder if it would not be Ellie, instead of another random person, would I still enjoy the game?It's kinda the same in every aspect and part. The NPC-s feel real, and I feel bad for killing them. Better than in RDR2. Waaay better. Ellie's friends: Joel, Tommy, Dina, Jessie. All amazing people. And all a bad killer, but lovable, they all have flaws. Good characters, horrible killers.abbys "friends": nora who held down Ellie to watch Joel's execution. At least she died as she deserved it. manny or who, the mexican dude, who's character is that he is a womanizer, the one who spit on Joel's body. The pregnant lady mel, who for some reason, is at the front while pregnant and a doctor.... owen who has literally nothing he's just abbys boyfriend. Why on Earth would I care for these people??? abby has 10 hours of gameplay.... nobody who played part 1 before likes her... The pros: All of abbys friends are dead. (abby doesn't care, never showed any sign of grief) At the end Ellie spares abby I was like wtf??? Ellie had a gun, yet she gets in a fist fight, and she loses, and loses her fingers... THEN SPARES HER. abby parts are random side quests, fetch this, fetch that, yet the person dies, all her friends are dead when we arrive to her part it's done. Horrible, cheap, bad, "all a dream" "pregnant+doctor-woman-on the front" main characters got dumbed down... I never used this word before but last of us 2 is woke as fk. Get rid of the guys, and get two girl main lead. Of course the neil favorite one gets better weapon, easier work bench, while Ellie gets beaten when upgrading her guns. abby doesn't end up alone is just ****.What I liked: Ellie parts are decent. That I'm gonna play. And the no return mod is also good. THAT'S ALL. Horrible game.

I was really hating on turn based games, and this game made me believe that. The game starts randomly... no story rehearse, nothing, you just spawn in a ship that's going down.... and because its turn based a 5-minute going down with the plane was 15 minutes for me XD to reach a button that was 2 meters away from me was 4 rounds XD The overs3xualised atmosphere, the cringe characters, and many other things made me just laugh at this game. This was the reason dnd was forbidden with kids in the 90s.

I was completely mesmerized. The story is peak, and the atmosphere pulls you in a way videos simply cannot show. A lot of people who hate on this game clearly haven’t played it. This is exactly why you shouldn’t blindly trust negativity online. Many great games have suffered because of random hate and youtubers shaping opinions instead of players forming their own. Try it yourself. Experience it yourself. Live your life and don’t let others decide what you should enjoy. Amazing game. TRY IT OUT.
