The game that made me love the rogue-like genre. The story is interesting, but it's not a game to play for the story. Unbeatable in terms of gameplay. The reason is simply this: There are 6 different weapons you can use in the game. Although you play basically the same game in each run, the game evolves into something completely different depending on the weapon you choose. Each weapon has different variations, even your gameplay has to change according to the different variations of the same weapon. This keeps you in the game. I beat the game 100% and still playing.

First of all, it is not an easy game to play with someone who is not familiar with games. Boss fights and sometimes even puzzles are quite challenging. However, if you have someone to play with, probably this is the best co-op game ever. Ambiance, art designs, mechanics are perfect. Side stories are well-placed. When you are in a chill mood in the fantasy world, side story appears and you find yourself in very tense situations at a sci-fi world. It is not boring at all, the game introduces you a new mechanics every second. Mechanics are easy to understand but sometimes can be hard to perform. Only negative vote for me is the characters background. Even it can be boring sometimes, especially when they start to tell about their traumas. Other than that, it is a very cool game.

Definitely worth a shot. 10 hours in and the game keeps you so much that you don't wanna quit. Humorous dialogues, cool art designs, easy-to-understand mechanics. Even though it is very chill game, sometimes I find myself in tense situations. Not a huge fan of the main story but the games gives you so much content and cool side quests as well.

Masterpiece. Story-wise, one of the best games of all time. Really enjoyed playing. All the mechanics are quite spot on and well-built in the game. All characters have their unique playstyles, builds, skills, weapons etc. and the game gives you an opportunity to re-build characters in a way you like again and again. It doesn't force you to do anything. I've never played JRPG before in my life, and this game has raised my expectations for the genre so high that they will probably never be met.
