I just finished getting all of the achievements for this game. So, that means I have beat it on easy, normal, and hard modes, gotten 100% of riddles, and scored three medals on every combat and predator challenge. It took me a month to do all of this. I am an avid gamer- I play for about 4-5 hours per day and I only play one game at a time. For an OCD achievement person, like me, this is a really balanced set of achievements. I felt like playing the different difficulties was satisfying because they actually did get progressively harder- but not ever impossible. For the more casual gamer, looking for a simple review: Pros: Beautiful graphics Awesome storyline NO BUGS- which is quite an accomplishment Combat feels great Cons: Very linear Cannot drive any vehicles- hello Rocksteady- Batmobile?! Rewards not well matched for the challenge.

The graphics in this game are surprisingly bad considering how late in this generation this game came out. I liked the turn-based strategy gameplay to a certain extent, but I feel like it would have been better if there were puzzles to solve or something that gave the game a bit of depth. I have no clue why this is rated M. There is a tiny bit of cursing. I give it such a high score because it is a very unique game and its nice to have something that is not a shooter come out. However, there were a lot of things that really bothered me about it. For instance, aliens can often break rules, like taking multiple turns. You can sometimes shoot through walls- aliens always can for the most part. The environments are really repetitive. There was not enough incentive to save civilians. I figured out pretty quickly that I could ignore them and they served as nice distractions while I wiped out the aliens.

Typical Rockstar Sandbox game. Some person tells you to go do something halfway across the world. You get there only to be told you need to go to the other side of the world. Riding horses is fun for the first 30 minutes of a pretty long game. It feels like multiplayer was an afterthought in this game. So, definitely don't get it for that. If you like playing the exact same Rockstar game over and over with a different protagonist than this is a good game. Very few racy moments. Story is okay. Overall: Pros: Good controls Story Beautiful graphics Cons: Very repetitive Not inventive Side-quests are pointless Rewards are so few and far between and not worth the hassle.

Cool I get to customize my own Wanzer!? Well, sort of. The thing is that you can customize to some extent but each level has a mandatory customization. The stickers for the Wanzer seemed like a really cool collectable, but it turns out they are so far and few between that getting them is trivial at best. The whole plot of the game was so LAME!!! **Spoiler alert*** There is this supposedly ultra-powerful system that causes one of the main characters to have deep seeded regrets about using it and killing a bunch of people, and you get to use it to. Thing is- it has no apparent advantage. Its not powerful at all! Its the crappiest ultimate weapon you could possibly conceive of. The game is ridiculously repetitive. Its the same thing over and over again. There is no learning curve in the game. It is all basically the same level except for the very last boss which is so ridiculously hard. This is not a game I would recommend.
