The Vow

User Scorekat267

The Vow really does merit its title. Throughout the film, Channing Tatum's character stayed true to his vows, and that made the story very unique and touching. Rachel McAdams' character was also true to her vows, even overcoming tons of obstacles to do so. Together, they make a cute couple and this was really fun to see. One of the few romantic dramas which did not induce tears, as the ending is happy and satisfying!

This is such an adorable movie! It makes every girl remember why pink was thier favorite color in elementary school. Elle Woods is a great role model, she takes in the best and worst moments of life with a cheerful laugh. I wish my dorm room would look like hers :). I am so excited to see the sequel!

I had to read The Book Thief for class and it is one assigned book which was surprisingly enjoyable. The movie was just as enjoyable and followed all the book's key themes very well. The ending is honestly the best scene, the emotions and feelings are almost tangible, and though I cried, it was worth it to see that scene played out. A strong, moving film that I highly recommend.

Keira Knightley should have won Best Actress for her perfect performance as Elizabeth Bennet. She completely embodies every aspect of Elizabeth: strong, independent, and spirited. Matthew Macfayden similarly embodies every aspect of the awkward Darcy. As with all Austen stories, I think the end is what makes the rest of the story worth reading as it can become dreary at times. And this ending did not fail, it was awesome to see Elizabeth and Darcy prevail. More romance needed, but we do have to judge it by the more puritan time period. A must-see film for everyone!

Amy Adams is great as the hilarious 'con artist' Anna! She really made the movie lively and fun. Slightly clichéd here and there, but with a striking message and the gorgeous backdrop of Ireland. A very well-done romantic comedy!

National Treasure is the ultimate adventure movie. There are lots of hilarious scenes with hilarious dialogue, and the suspenseful ending balances it out. I love the historical connections---History is my best class, I always get an A--- although the facts are somewhat stretched, it turns out to be a great mystery. Nicholas Cage is brilliant as Ben and Diane Kruger is a great choice for her supporting role, I loved the chemistry between Ben and Abigail! Also whoever wrote the score is a musical genius!

This was such good but also sad movie. Channing Tatum was a great choice for John, and made John so likeable. Amanda Seyfried was good, but I dislike Savanah so much. I know the title tells all, but the climax is just so shocking that all I could do was cry when it happened. The romance is lovely while it lasts, so all we can do is cherish that bit until it inevitably comes to an end. I love all Nicholas Sparks stories, and this one is no exception.

A wonderful and uplifting story! It really spotlights the inherent goodness, generosity, and charity of mankind. Sandra Bullock is perfect in her role, she brings to life MLK's words: judge people not by the color of their skin but on the content of thier character. And by doing this, she is able to help the talented teen Michael Oher. Also I loved supporting actress Lily Collins' character. A very well-done movie in all aspects!

This is a great costume and fashion movie! From what we learn, Marie Antoinette was addicted to luxuries and this movie realistically shows that with all the gorgeous designs. Not very educational, but it's meant for the drama and glamour.

Mia Thermopolis is right on: Every girl can be a princess. Mia shows us how a princess is kind, selfless, generous, and gracious to everyone. This positive message is only one of the great things in this movie. The fashions are gorgeous, Chris Pine is really handsome, and Julie Andrews makes an invaluable addition. An amazing sequel all-around.

The Last Song is a great book adaptation. I think they could have chosen someone else besides Miley Cyrus, but she gives a solid performance as rebellious teen Ronnie. Liam Hemsworth also performs well as Will, and thier romance definitely struck a chord with me. Similarly, Ronnie's relationship with her dad was very emotional for me to watch. I loved everything about this film and it will always be a favorite.

This sequel was really well-done. I am a history fan, so I thought they did an excellent job incorporating historical elements with the adventure/drama aspects. The car chases are hilarious, the discoveries breathtaking, all with an underlying mood of suspense. Nicholas Cage and Diane Kruger's relationship is really entertaining, they are one of the best movie couples! And since Nicholas Cage is one of Hollywood's greatest actors, this movie was destined for success from the start!

I remember reading this book in elementary school so when I discovered there was a movie, I jumped at the chance to see it and I am so glad I did. Anne Hathaway brings Ella to life with a classic teen-girl personality, not always in line with the book but still very well done. Hugh Dancy is the perfect Prince Char-ming, who helps Ella learn about love while she teaches him some character lessons. Ella and Char are such a cute romantic pair and they made me believe in the magic of fairytales all over again!

Clueless is a rite of passage movie for all teen girls. And Cher is a real role model. Although her ventures and schemes backfire, she handles them with lots of enthusiasm and gusto which makes her such a lovable character. And she learns that even if you look everywhere for love and don't see it, it will always show up in the most unexpected **** uplifting and positive message for teen girls.

Field of Dreams perfectly embodies what baseball is all about and I highly recommend it for everyone, sports fan or not. Plus: Kevin Costner is at his prime and really good looking!
