Best Resident Evil I’ve ever played, right at the top alongside Resident Evil 4 and the RE4 Remake. The best in the entire series is here: the best combat and the best survival horror experience. Capcom reaches a level of technical excellence here that is simply outstanding. The graphics are incredible, the audio is just as immersive, and above all, the character movement and facial expressions are extremely convincing.Certainly one of the best games I’ve ever played in my life and one of the greatest horror games in history. This game marks Resident Evil’s return to its peak. A true gift for the **** only “downside” of the game — which honestly isn’t even a real flaw — is simply wanting more of it. There’s no Mercenaries mode (at least not at launch), and a combat system this satisfying absolutely deserves more arenas for us to crush zombie skulls. I can’t wait for Mercenaries to arrive. In other words, the only bad thing about this game is that it ends. Simply wonderful.

.One of the best indie horror games out there. Incredibly attentive to detail, with extremely well-crafted environments and excellent 3D models. Great puzzles, and an extremely creative story with strong inspiration from Black Mirror. Smooth movement and outstanding atmosphere **** only real drawbacks are clearly budget limitations, which make the combat feel noticeably “indie.” It’s not bad by any means, but compared to big blockbusters it’s obviously a step below — something completely justified by its price and indie-scale scope.Overall, I highly recommend it to all fans of the genre.
