Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn)7

Fun to watch. Not your typical superhero movie, but a welcome tangent. 7/10 overall, 8/10 for enjoyment.

Great, depressing, eerie, sideways movie. It was a bit slow unraveling, but what a ride with cutting tension, Acting was excellent. Not the typical hollywood farce of cheap tricks and tempo led storytelling. Riley Keough's resistance is well played and one can't keep from feeling The Shining like dread Riley's fight plays out. 9/10 from me. Kudos to Fiala and Franz, the directors.

Issa Rae is a burgeoning actress. She is beautiful and has a wonderful onscreen personality. She is still at the stage where she can be molded by a director to character's liking. LaKeith is her male counterpart in may ways. Their chemistry and hesitance in their romance was fun to watch. Fairly simple plot with a great soundtrack. I recommend this movie.

The camera work was stunning, the acting was excellent. Aside from some obligatory, non-essential scenes, this was an enjoyable movie. Some sequences were really edge of your seat and amazing in their ability to draw you into the movie. Others seemed like a short-cut was taken to piece the movie story-line together. A must see on the big screen with Dolby Sound for a fully immersive experience. 10/10 for me cinematography, but overall a 9/10.

God awful. Cheap scares of a spooky house. Very one-dimensional plot. I would have given it a 0 rating except for Tara Westwood who I thought gave a good performance. I should have known better then seeing this movie. I saw it at AMC25 at 42nd street to boot. One of the worst theaters in all of New York.

Great Movie. Sandler is really essential to this film. No one can draw you into a character quite like he can. The chaotic atmosphere is essential to the character and his flaws. I don't like or do spoilers so I will say that it is a must-see movie that took quite a long time to make. It paid off. Indie feel with some real people featured in the movie. As always, please choose a good theater with a good respectable crowd to see any movie of substance. A good or great movie can be tarnished by a bad theater experience.

A must see, slow-moving powerhouse. Excellent performances all around. Slight B-movie feel with at least a golden globe impact. Alfre Woodard is great. Aldis is another good performance. Hats off. Only found this in one theater in NY (Kips Bay) and traveled to it with an entourage and could not be happier about the decision.
