Like a book you don't want to come to an end (remember, anyone?), I cherished the poetry of this piece of art and savoured it down to every tiny detail. It belongs in the league of experiences like Ico, Shadow of the Colossus, Journey, Last Guardian, Sable. True jewel.

Great game, crap career mode. Too bad they flushed it all down the drain after this.

Never a game kidnapped me as this one. If the first Division is the peak of modern gaming so far, this is a faster, less real and less inspired version of the same brilliant experience. Lately I have to say they're kinda defacing it tho. Ran out of ideas and inspiration. Most def in need of a change of staff. Like going back to the old devs?

My first PS4 game, I enjoyed it to the ending then dropped it for something else. I came back after 3 or 4 years on the Division 2 and found out that this is the best game I ever played so far. Graphics and world are much better than most of current gen titles, story and writing superb. Gunplay is perfect. The overall experience might seem a little shallow until you dive into the endgame. That's when it blooms. It's not a matter of grinding, minmaxing or finding better gear, it becomes a reason, a way of life. It becomes addiction. Sweet and bitter addiction. Vet agents know exactly what I mean. If only this was still alive with new content... I would die a happy man.

I've tried hard to like this but: graphics would be bad even for a ps4 and the gameplay, well, I ran right back to the Division in a few weeks. Setting and ideas are great, the game is boring, shallow and soulless I'm afraid. Big miss.

Old, broken and punishing like a senile, angry granpa. A potentially good game ruined by basic mistakes, ancient gameplay flaws and lazy design choices. Car handling and terrains are very good but some tracks are garbage (slalom red stakes?!! Unacceptable) and collisions are handled so badly that sometimes you'll be watching your car roll in the air for no reason (like when touching the edges of a rocky or snowy road). All this would be too frustrating even for a '00s rally game, in 2025 it's a crime. Oh, and the first Gran Turismo's replays (28 years ago) were 3 times better - I'm serious. There's too little love and care in here, plus the game does everything it can to push your trust away. A shame, being a Codemasters work. Shameful that they didn't bother to patch it properly. But it's EA Craps, after all. This is leaning toward a soulslike racing game, which is the dumbest thing to do to rally. Next time, if ever, employ rally drivers instead of cheap traps, mates.

Delicate and mesmerizing like a flower from another planet. Truly beautiful and deep, honest and challenging, this is the most inspired and inspiring game experience I had since Journey and The Last Guardian. A must play, but surely not for everyone. Lowering a bit the field of view solved the frame rate issue on my ps5.
