A lot of my friends, as well as myself, foolishly bought this game. We bought into the hype entertainment sites were feeding us and as a result, ended up wasting $60. The parkour element and jet packs allow for relatively unrestricted movement for a fps but it's not enough to compensate for lack of variety when it comes to maps, weapons, attachments, and customization. far too often games will be littered with players running around with the same loadout. there is a ton of potential for titanfall 2, the problem is it seems like titanfall is almost a tech demo with flashy trailers. don't waste hard earned money on this game. Titanfall 2 will definitely be something to keep an eye on though.

first off i recommend reading the books first as it will help immerse you in the world better. the writing and interactions between the characters is dark and witty. the atmosphere and art design captured the grim nature of the witcher's world. geralt is one of the biggest badasses in gaming. neutral, intelligent, and lethal. only reason i'm not giving this a 10 is the combat seemed a bit limited and boring. sure you can spice it up with spells, potions, coatings but it really boiled down to the timing of one button over and over. i can't wait to play the second game as it supposedly does pretty much everything better than the original.

Changes to the physics are welcome even if they're unpolished. Very unnatural movements occur every play. I can definitely see the potential of the new engine despite players bouncing around in ways that defy physics. game play alone I would rate madden a 8. The main issue I have is the horrible trading system and no way to edit rosters in career mode. The new progression system is a pretty cool idea but it seems extremely unbalanced as far the points awarded per player. Overall I think the game play has potential to be excellent in a couple years. This definitely isn't just a roster update but the new additions don't outweigh stripping down previous features that are beloved my many.

not a bad game. the single player is sweet with only a few minor problems. it's a little short but it manages to cover stealth operations, massive battles, scouting for air cav, and gunning out of an apache. the biggest annoyance i had was the invisible check points where you could be two feet from a squad member when you actually have to practically be on top of them to progress. mp is disappointing coming from dice. kill streaks, no recoil, and lack of weapons make it a fairly shallow and boring experience.

frame rate issues are very significant the larger your save file becomes. i love the game but after putting 25 hours in it turns into a choppy mess. i was so excited about the iron sights and new scopes but i found myself forced into using vats due to the frame rate problems. don't buy this for ps3.

one of the most rewarding gaming experiences i've had in close to 20 years of gaming. extremely difficult but not impossible game play forces the player to adapt and form a strategy to progress. i found myself grinning like a complete idiot after beating a few bosses. i can't wait for dark souls.

i'd give this game a 9 if it weren't for frame rate and lag issues. even offline there was a significant lag between when i fired and impact. even when i was right next to someone. i recommend this game to anyone on pc but not for ps3.

amazing game. the soundtrack and story are what made this such an enjoyable game. main story line is fantastic. only issue i have with the game is the weak side quests that are ultimately a bunch of go fetch quests. i stuck to the main quest and avoided the majority of side quests and still had around 18 hours of great game play. if you're looking for more hours there are multiple endings that allow you to play through the game as a different character, and there are numerous side quests. i didn't even complete 1/4th of the missions and only played through the game once which led to me finishing under 20 hours. i definitely recommend this game to rpg fans.

if you even remotely liked any of the civ games, buy this. graphics aren't phenomenal but the presentation and depth are. the amount of choices at your disposal is overwhelming. the civ series never became stale for me, but if it did for anyone, this game will likely freshen up the experience. similar structure, different atmosphere and world. the thought provoking quotes never fail to disappoint either.

I'll start by saying I played hl2 +ep1+2 before playing this game. I just bought the original recently and found that it's still better than most shooters to this day. The atmosphere, level creativity, and pace are glorious. glorious. I'm partial to games with a great story/atmosphere and the hl games are unrivaled. story isn't my favorite, hardly any dialogue, but the mystery surrounding the events occurring around freeman largely contribute to hl's interesting atmosphere. it's not that the plot is poor, it can just be contained on a single page. i really hope valve releases half-life 3 within the next 50 years.

Phenomenal game considering when it came out. One of the most interesting and unique atmospheres in gaming even over a decade later. I would give this game a 10 if the a.i. was better. A.I. is one of the key ingredients in stealth games considering you have to analyze movement and patterns of behavior to be successful. The a.i. falls short compared to modern games, but it's impressive for it's time. Few games have left me with as much satisfaction after completing a level. Not only is it satisfying, you get to watch awesome cut scenes and mission briefings. Anyone who likes stealth oriented games should check this game out.
