There are no other good visual novels but this one. Perfect blend of substance, pathos and light hearted humor. Deserves far more recognition than it has recelved.

To me this is the perfect game. A narrative that matters and choices that have an effect on the plot. It's what I want most out of gaming. Some of the circumstances are unforgettable. In what other game can you pretend to accept a racial supremacy ideology to trick a nationalist bodyguard into sneaking past him to swindle his mafia union organizer boss?

Very polished with multiplayer and leaderboards to test your abilities against the world. I would not be surprised if some of the regulars at the top are bots, AI, superhuman or all three.

This one is fricking hard. Do not play it for the same timekilling purpose as the original as you will quickly become very frustrated.

If you are old and boring you will love this game. Good thing I am both. The entries in the series are mostly indistinguishable so you're better off going with the most recent adaptation.

Your favorite Final Fantasy blown up to ridiculous proportions by way of Michael Bay and injected with a bunch of fluff and anime treacle. Still a mind-blowing experience for anyone who was a fanboy for the original. I didn't really mind the gofer quests that much and I can't wait to see what they do with the series.

Good for what it is but I can't really recommend spending the price currently asked for it. I'd put the value more at $5

The first time you see an eight foot Vader looming over you and booming the command "You should prove useful" you will likely feel a bit of intimidation as I did. The guy is practically mythological at this point.

This game is probably second only to Alyx as an outstanding demonstration of what VR can do. Too bad its very slow placed and mostly comprised of rather soulless, lonely environments.

Not bad for a rather short VR "experience." I wish the job mods were more compelling after you unlock them. And Infinite Overtime mode does not interest me at all.

I spent a year getting through the game, another year getting through the Dark Side of the Moon, and two years working on the Darker Side of the Moon. And I didn't even collect my way there, I bought my way in with gold farming!

A lot of people had a problem with the sudden shift in focus at about the halfway point, but I thought it was fine. This is just a teen horror flick, but perhaps the only game to ever correctly offer branching paths that actually vary from one another, instead of being mere "illusions" like Telltale or BioWare games. Recommended, but don't expect anything brilliant -- there are far too many draggy scenes of slow walking around pitch black corridors for that.

A rare improvement on the original. Inconsistent misplaced humor, yes, buggy on release, oh, terribly so. But it was everything about the original improved and writ large. You really feel like captain of your own destiny in a game like this, even though it may be illusory. Grab the Fallout 2 Restoration series of patches from No Mutants Allowed and enjoy it the way it was meant to be played.

I first saw this game in WalMart. I thought it looked like trash and skipped it. Then word of mouth told me how great it is. Little did I know it would become a pillar for the way cRPGs would develop in the future. I can't stop playing it every few years for that reason. Best with the "Fallout Fixt" series of patches available from No Mutants Allowed / Vault-Tec Labs. Check them out!

One of the weaker entries in the series in my opinion. They tried to give a little personality to the characters by giving them names other than "Onion Kid" but it didn't add much. I guess Ignus was the rebel? Whatever. At least it introduced the excellent "Job System" which came to underpin many of the best FF games ever.

Classic game revamped, made more tolerable by a dial-down of difficulty for the main game. All the difficulty is in the new optional dungeons, as is most of the best in slot loot. I found it quite annoying to collect!
