Star Fox8
Jul 14, 2026
My first experience with Star Fox was as a kid, playing the SNES version. I did not enjoy it very much, so that ended up being both my first and last encounter with the series for a long time.
With this remake, however, I can honestly say that it is a great game, even though it is far too short. There is some replay value thanks to the different routes and endings, and the inclusion of an online mode is a nice **** main issue is the lack of depth and content. It works well as a short game to play in between larger titles, but it does not offer enough to feel truly substantial. The additional story cutscenes and more cinematic presentation were welcome improvements, and I personally enjoyed them a lot, but unfortunately, they are not enough to make up for the limited amount of content. For me, it is around a 7.5 to 8.0 out of 10. What the game lacks in content, it makes up for with strong quality, polished gameplay, and overall playability.

Palworld2
Jul 14, 2026
AI slop of the year: a game that throws Pokémon, ARK: Survival Evolved, guns, and Zelda: Breath of the Wild-style traversal into one giant blender, then tops it off with creature designs that often look like obvious AI mashups of existing Pokémon. All of that is wrapped in gameplay that, beneath the novelty, feels surprisingly bland and hollow. People still insist Palworld was not made with AI? Shortly before Palworld was developed and released, Pocketpair CEO Takuro Mizobe posted the following on Twitter/X: a) “Left: Pokémon-style monsters generated by AI ➔ Right: Real Pokémon (Illumise, Wormadam, Qwilfish, Fomantis).” b) “I thought, ‘If you run it through an AI filter, it’s often no longer a specific image, so maybe the copyright issue is resolved?’ And I’m surprised that the world is actually moving in that direction. In about 30 years, the general public’s understanding of copyright may have changed considerably.” These quotes do not, by themselves, prove that Palworld’s assets were generated with AI. But they do make skepticism about the game’s design process entirely reasonable. Especially given how closely several Pals resemble combinations of existing Pokémon designs. Which i can't say for other 3-4 Pokémon-like games which i saw recently.

This is nominated for Goty?
If you love monotonous dreary regions (brown, stones, and some trees) and always the same undead faceless enemies from dozens of Souls-like games.. this game here is for you. I am so fed up with Souls-like undead scenarios that give me depressions. Overhyped trash.

Broken Sword - Shadow of the Templars: Reforged10
Nov 19, 2025
For me, Broken Sword Reforged is the best remaster of a point-and-click adventure I have ever seen. With great attention to detail, it’s a very faithful restoration of the original — it preserves the art style and charm, successfully carrying them into the modern era. This stands in stark contrast to the Broken Sword Director’s Cut, which—quite inexplicably—was praised in a review I saw. The Director’s Cut replaced the stylistically perfect intro of the original with a stiff, anticlimactic opening, visually reminiscent of rigid Flash animations rather than the original’s gorgeous cartoon aesthetic.Reforged also wisely abandons the sharp-edged character portraits that never matched the 90s cartoon design of the **** background art and character animations have been lovingly and accurately restored, and even small logic issues in the scenery were fixed (e.g., the café counter now shows the expected damage after the explosion in the opening scene). The audio has been upgraded only subtly, likely due to the low quality of the original sound files. Completely re-recording the voice acting wouldn’t have been a viable solution for fans anyway — and to me, the sound quality feels just right. There are also new hints that can be revealed step-by-step, optionally after some time has passed. If you want a faithful and beautiful restoration of the classic, Broken Sword Reforged is far superior to the Director’s Cut, which replaced and essentially ruined the iconic, bombastic original intro with a newly invented, utterly dull prologue — not to mention the inconsistent art design throughout the DC version. As for Broken Sword in general: everyone should experience this absolute classic of the point-and-click genre at least once. For me, it’s the perfect blend of mysterious adventure, humor, and memorable, likeable characters. Even today, Broken Sword easily holds its own among the best adventure games ever made.
