WRC 10 The Official Game2
Sep 4, 2021
I was a huge fan of WRC 8 and was really looking forward to WRC 9 when I learned that they had completely changed the physics and overall driving experience from how it was in WRC 8. That meant the game was ruined and sadly, it'øs the same story with WRC 10. The game is not finished and needs a lot of patching but worst of all is the fact that you feel like you are trying to steer a Hovercraft and at no speed can you turn, adjust or do anything to your car. It either does nothing or spins around. Going at speed is impossible and you don't have anything close to a real life racing experience. Drive around in a car and you can feel it move, the weight, how fast you can go without under/oversteering.... None of this is possible in WRC 10. It's a joke.

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City10

GTA Vice City is the greatest game, with the greatest setting, with the greatest soundtrack and with the perfect story. It's lightning in a bottle. You're dealing coke, fighting gangs, driving sportscars, wearing the perfect palm shirt, can do whatever the **** you want and you're doing it while 'Africa', 'Dance Hall Days' and 'Owner of a Lonely Heart' is playing on the radio. To me, that's the perfect game and almost 20 years later nothing has ever come close to it.

Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts4

I cannot fathom how anyone can call this game fun or good. It really is a crying shame that this franchise has evolved into something that is a shell of what a Sniping game used to be. I've owned every game in this franchise and it has gotten worse with every single installment. The new things that are in this game are on paper great but nothing works. There so many inconsistencies it feels like a joke. If you just want to blast away like your on set for Arnold's Commando it's fine but when you want to sneak around, take long shots and be clever you run face first into a wall over and over. There are 5 missions in the single player campaign.... 5. Enemies are dumb as **** invisible, some are invincible unless you use a .50 cal sniper, Secondary rifles/weapons can't be suppressed so you can't use them, You can't aim your secondary weapons without having a stroke for some reason, chain kills only work half the time, semi-automatic rifles have a firing delay that makes them as slow as bolt-action rifles when firing rapidly, The Checkpoint saving system is triggered by waypoints on the map so you can complete objectives, get away then die and you have to do the entire objective over again because you ran another way out of the place, You do the same **** every mission, Gravity an wind means there's a 5 cm drop on shoots taken from a distance of 20 meters and there is ALWAYS winds above 6 m/s, movement is the slowest and clunkiest it has ever been, Stealthing is so slow and boring you just run past everybody because the AI is ****, platforming is clunky and not needed when it makes the main character moan like he's being mounted by a donkey every time he grabs a ledge. And mainly the tagging system is the most idiotic I've experienced. You need to equip your binoculars for that and switch between your scope on your rifle and the binoculars..... Why on earth do you need the bino when you can zoom the same in your scope and it is your mask that does the tagging? You are wasting almost hours of swapping between weapons all the time because the binoculars has to do the tagging of enemies witch is a necessity. There are good parts like the gunplay in general other than pistols only sometimes doing damage, the look of the game is nice and clean, the amount of weapons and gadgets is fine and I like the story and setting of the game. But my gosh is it boring and everything feels like a chore to do. The new challenges is OK to have in the missions/contracts but most of them are so pointless and just means you have to go full Rambo afterwards. This franchise is done. It didn't need to be perfect or eve close but it's taking its mouth so full it's choking on itself.

Forza Horizon 410
Mar 10, 2020
This game is by far the best open world driving experience to date. Mechanics, graphics, physics and overall gameplay is (as always with Forza) the best you can get. There are a few things that can annoy you like online players not racing but playing bumper cars, not having unlimited car slots in your garage and the rewind mechanic doesn't always work like you want it to but that can't take anything away from the most awesome and realistic driving experience ever made.

Far Cry 51
Mar 10, 2020
This game is one of the biggest waste of time experiences I've ever had. In essence it is a remastering and re-patched special edition of Far Cry 3. That would be fine because Far Cry 3 was a really good game, but Far Cry 5 isn't. First off I think that when you have a first person shooter the weapons need to hit where you aim and not have shots fly off to the sides when you're trying to snipe a gut on a rooftop so you don't alert anyone. Every weapon seems like it's not adjusted so you shoot left and right off your target while laying down prone with a 8x scope fixed on an enemy's head and he's standing still. The map is fine and the elements of fishing and hunting work just like in Far Cry 3, so that's fine, but it doesn't make a difference at all to the game if it is in or not. enemies spawn all over the place ALL THE TIME, so you can't go anywhere without bumping into enemies and constantly have to kill 8 guys at every turn in the road. Visually the game looks good. nice colors and environment and the wildlife acts somewhat close to real wildlife so hunting feels real in some ways without being to boring. physics, especially while driving boats and flying are atrocious but you don't really care since it gets the job done and you don't depend that much on it. All this wouldn't mean a bad game if it was Far Cry 3 but this is Far Cry 5 and this game has the most idiotic and stupid story.... maybe of all time. You don't have a clue what is going on at any point of what the overall goal is with your actions or what the main villains plan is. You get kidnapped over and over to signal a new chapter in the story where you repeat the same over and over and over. I more or less figured out there was some thing about a certain sentence (won't spoil it) but you blast your way through enemies and bosses and you wait for that reward of finally nailing The Father and his family so you push on. Through the game I found myself not understanding why anyone would ever follow The Father since he strikes me as the opposite of a real cult leader, since he's talking about the bible all the time but it's gibberish, with zero context, not real bible quotes, quotes that don't fit any of the situations, Greg Bryk does a good job with the character but he's not a leader, he's a frail **** with an end goal that makes no sense and you don't care because there is no connection between the Potagonist and the Father and his family. You sit through cut scene after cut scene and plow your way through enemies in the thousands and in the end the game gives you the worst ever ending I've ever seen in any game that feels like a real and finish product. You feel like you got spit in the face and not in the good way where you want to do it all again to show who's boss but in the way where you feel like you just completely wasted 30 hours of your life on this stupid cash grab.

DOOM10
Aug 9, 2019
Doom is perfect! There is not a single part of this amazing game that isn't the perfect fit for the situation. Gunplay works on every lvl and with every weapon. The Collectibles can make a huge difference to your overall gameplay and makes a real difference. You want to find every single collectible because the maps are designed so amazingly that it doesn't feel like a chore to do. the enemy designs and variety is astonishing. Every monster/demon has its own way of attacking and then there is the gore.... Oohhh the mighty gore and blood when you brutalize one enemy after the other and you can't help but smile and laugh at the imaginative ways you can rip enemies apart. Upgrades to weapons are awesome and you really need skill and drive to complete the game on the harder difficulties. Mods and other workshop things ad to the multiplayer experience. The Story is compelling, although it is out worldly and you are thrown into it head first, and the characters and voice actors do an amazing job. Especially Darin De Paul as Samuel Hayden. All these things would in itself make a really good game. And the overall feel to the game is amazing and you really feel like you are on a different planet fighting demons. But there is one thing that takes Doom from being a great game, to being a perfect game. The sound design and soundtrack is the best ever made to fir a first person shooter and the best in any video game since GTA Vice City. Mick Gordons soundtrack of chucking guitars, electronic sounds mixed into the game on the base of the more enemies you face the more music there is and the heavier the music gets. You slash, hack and blast through waves of spawning demons that keep on coming. You pull out the BFG and end the last ten enemies with one shot and the almost deafening sound of the blast and it's impact, paired with the hammering of Mick Gordons song Flesh and Metal or Cyberdemon suddenly stops all at once like it's **** out of the room you are in in-game and all you hear is the wind and the vague and atmospheric background music as silent as a whisper. The experience is completely unique to DOOM and all these elements combined makes this game one of the best ever made and if id Software can somehow improve it in the next chapter of the Doom Slayer. I'm afraid I'm gonna start crying out of shere joy when I hear Mick Gordons music and I start ripping things apart.

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds4

I've been playing PUBG for several years now and it is one of the most annoying games 95% of the time and the last 5% it is one of the most satisfying games I've ever played. There is no feeling like winning a solo game after your heart's been pounding for the last 10 minutes like you were running a marathon. But, when that's said there's the other 95% off the time. The game has the most inconsistent and bad gunplay I've ever experienced. At times you kill guys with 3 headshots on 3 shots and the next game with the same weapons and same attachments and so on, and you can't hit the broad side of a barn. Full Auto spray is completely unpredictable but then it isn't the SCAR-L AR had a BUG where after the first 5 shots flew all over the place it would have zero recoil and hit bullseye on the next 25-35 shots. The bullet drop from every weapon makes zero sense and it's impossible to predict where you're gonna hit when you are more than 50 meters away from your target. Loot is random though it tends to be better at places with a high concentration of buildings but that is no guarantee and that's the same thing with vehicles. There are games where there's no loot, no vehicles anywhere and the zone is as far away from you as possible. If you don't have a DMR or a SR in the end game your chances go from bad to slim and if you don't have at least a 4x scope it's close to impossible to win. The SKS hasn't hit where you aim for the entirety of the games existence. Vaulting took a year to implement so you didn't get stuck on 20 cm fences or died because you couldn't jump through a window. Armor ruins everything since you need so many rounds with an SMG or 5.56 chambered AR or SR to kill your opponents with lvl 3 armor and helmet while they one hit you with a SR because you "only" have a lvl 2 helmet. Physics when driving, especially on the motorcycles, is the worst I've seen in any game. Glitches and bugs still riddle the game on every map. There is a ton of cheaters and hackers playing the game. There are so many faults with initializing the menu, entering games and loading screens where you fail to connect. and last but not least the sound design is the worst I've ever experienced in any game. I have a really good headset and I have no clue where shoots are coming from when I'm fired upon no matter the weapon. the sound when you get hit is gonna cause someone tinnitus and I don't want a jump scar because someone hit me with a 9mm round in a game. at times you hear people coming from a mile away on foot and other times they run straight by you without a sound. I may sound like a salty player who never "Got Good" but I've won multiple games in every game mode and PUBG is not a very good game. It's better than the other battle royal games in style and design I think, so that's why I keep playing it but it has always been and still feels like a game that's not finished and never will be.

WWI: Verdun - Western Front9
Aug 9, 2019
I rate Verdun highly because it brings some realism to an otherwise boring and generic first person shooter marked. The gunplay is perfect in my book. The balancing of the maps made all the maps playable and the other updates and patches has improved the entire game a lot. The game is really hard at times but a really good thing about the game is that you can't fake your way through it. You'll get shoot to bits if you aren't clever about your runs and is a good shoot. The different gamemodes mean that you can learn the game properly and when to teams of 30+ players that know how the game works and work together there is no game in history that depicts the real struggle the battle in the trenches on the western front in WWI was. If you wanna learn a realistic first person shooter with real teamwork, strategy and great sound check out Verdun or Tannenberg. If you pick it up for a quick fix and expect to walk over people every game, be prepared to get owned every single game by guys like me who relish in a historical tug of war, where every single shot to the hip or shoulder is lethal every time. Because in Flanders Fields every wound was a death sentence.

Madden NFL 203
Aug 9, 2019
Madden 20 is a repatched edition of Madden 19..... Which was a repatched edition of Madden 18. It is not a bad game by any means, but there is almost no new content that makes a difference to the gaming experience. The new X-Factor abilities makes it so unbalanced, that you can now throw deep bombs on every play and opposing safeties and/or LB's cause a fumble every 10th tackle if they have the right ability. Face of the Franchise is really fun but the customization options for the game as a whole is a joke so you end up with a player that looks like a slug in his face. The game looks fine visually but my biggest critique is the same as it was with Madden 19. There is still the completely **** and scripted plays during games where flags, rules, physics and common sense are thrown out the window. Defenders can remove your player with brute force, catch the ball through other players bodies, cause an incomplete pass if a receiver is hit in any part off his body during a leaping/jumping catch, the AI on offense doesn't have a clue where the goal line or line to gain is, Offensive Linemen give up on plays at the snap so the QB gets sacked, Running in the Redzone is 85% of the time impossible in goal line formation, reviews and challenges makes no sense, the commentary is terrible, there is no halftime show..... still, the music is still the worst of any game franchise since I have taste and don't listen to Mumble-Rap, the AI still has plays on both defense and offense you can't beat and last but not least Zone defense doesn't work for the 8th time in a row in a madden game no matter what players you have on defense. It's still fun to play at times but especially the scripted plays ruin it every single time. EA don't care about you as a player so you shouldn't buy this game until it goes on sale.
