Disabled vet here. When COD first came out I let my boys play it without hesitation, particularly because of the quotes between fights that made it clear that real war isn't a game, but it is necessary to maintain American Freedom. It gave a small glimpse into the price my brothers paid with their lives during the actual war. As the message changed in the other direction, we stopped giving money to these devs and all of EA. Banned in my home. My boys are 26 and in the military, and I've banned this game.. I don't care if they're adults. The only American flags that can be found in this game are burning. As a Constitutional Republic with a Democratic process, we're going to get what we give, and we'll get what we deserve... and this game is a sign of tragic things to come. It's appropriate that one of the devs for this game is "Demonware". At least they're honest. No company involved with this game will ever get a single Red American Cent from me.

An absolute masterpiece of modern software optimization, user interface design, and fluid open world gameplay theory. I've been in the tech field, to include system and software architecture and dev, for 30yrs. I can't fathom how they are able to have so much going on in this game without pegging the CPU, Mem, IO, and GPU usage. It's voodoo! With that being said; did I just read a 0 score because it 'runs bad on Windows 7'?!? My PC is high end, but it's 3yrs old. I'm doing 40-60fps at 4k high settings. I'm pleased with that. There are many other games I've played that aren't as well optimized by half. Anyone who's having a problem with Cyberpunk not playing smoothly on their system is either; A. Not very good at maintaining their PC.. or B. Should have upgraded years ago. I assure you, it's not the game's fault... it's on you Maynard. And no.. I don't work for CDPR.. I work for a financial institution.. which is why my 3yr old PC was purchased with enough cash and forethought that it's still handling demanding video games. As for gameplay itself, you're walking into the movie Bladerunner... after it was rebranded by a dozen geniuses on heroin! I just hope I don't lose my job and my wife before the wonder fades.

Once a month I do a websearch for "new game" and "like Anarchy Online". For more than a decade I've searched and found nothing. There has never been a game or MMO like Anarchy Online. It's vast in underlying data and complexity. It's weird in it's visuals and story lines. You can delve into it shallowly and have a great time.. but OH.. if you delve deeper you can discover features and functions that perhaps no one has ever seen. It's that vast and complex. Build agility implants so you can install intelligence implants that are 20 levels above what you should be able to use. Use code scripting to enhance controlling your Meta-Physicist pets. Play a Bureaucrat and learn to charm mobs 100 levels above you and destroy entire areas. These developers don't "confine you" to a hard coded reality.. but you won't easily breach their secrets. I'll continue searching once a month, for any new game that's a fraction of what Anarchy Online once was.

This game easily deserves a 10. You don't score a game in this category by how "complete" it is on day 1. Yes, of course they're going to tweak and expand.. it's a complex universe with the most complex economy and mechanics of any game short of a flight simulator. Egosoft will build upon this foundation, and the foundation gets a 10. What they build upon it is just a bonus in my opinion. I logged in and I was easily and quickly able to map my Warthog HOTAS to a great ship control setup (to include maps and dialogs). My FPS hovered between 80 and 100 with ultra settings and I experienced no crashes in 10 hours of play. I had a blast flying around and learning my new ship. The tutorial was text based, but that's ok.. spend your time on universe mechanics devs, not on complex voice acted tutorials. When I landed back in the station I was given color coded steering queues in my HUD. When I was setting down I watched an aircrewman guide me in with real US Airforce hand signals, then salute on touchdown. WOW! The mechanics and feel are similar to X3.. but this is what I always wished X3 could be. The effort and attention to detail given to X4 really makes up for the X:Rebirth launch... I no longer question the capabilities of this dev team. Amazing work!

As a Navy Veteran, I'm not easy to please in this area. With that said, it's 3am and I've been trying to exit the conn for 3 hours. Killerfish did a great job of tailoring this as something in between a study sim and a casual game. You can dive deeper (pun) into it if you want and become more effective, or you can wing it and still have fun. I took a few points off the score because it lacks granular keyboard controls. I hooked up DWVAC voice controls to the control schema that's available, but I still have to use the keyboard often. For instance, if you want to order the dive officer to take you to a specific depth, you have to click arrows (no numeric entry or even shortcuts for the arrows). However, if you want to micromanage your dive officer, you can use DWVAC to say "Bow planes 10 degrees down" and watch your depth closely, then say "level the bow planes". I'd prefer to give orders and let them carry those orders out since you play the part of the captain and should have situational awareness of many more pressing matters. I do like the fact that you don't have to learn target motion analysis to use the sonar, but it's still usable in that you can manually match the signature to get a faster contact validation. This means you don't have to study for six months to understand it, but you still get to take part in the interesting aspects. Well done! If you want to learn something about submarine warfare, I highly recommend this game. If you are looking for a study sim, I still recommend it and believe it's worth the money.. it's not so simple that it will insult your intelligence.

I bought it after they screwed it up (12-2017). Wish I would have made my purchase before the DLCs and bad updates. I completed an initial 'test playthrough' while reading articles and watching videos about game mechanics and tactics. I then spent about 200 hours on a map and was staying at the same pace as the AI. First, although diplomacy was even across me and all AI, every time I attacked someone, everyone else attacked me (no, they didn't have any diplomatic ties). I still held my own. Next, I received a message saying an AI won by owning over 40% of planets, although it clearly showed I had 71/1235 to their 63/1020. I decided to play it through as I had a drake and about a 400k fleet to play with. I went up against a 105k and two 50ks. I paused and checked our loadouts and I was surprised that they were nearly exact, except I had scale armor. The AI fleet had no leaders, and I had two high level admirals. The AI destroyed my fleet and lost only 50 corvettes and 18 battleships. Now, before you start thinking 'this guy must have done something really stupid'.. understand that I've been playing strategy games since before the PC was invented, I worked on fighter jets in the military, and I'm a data intelligence architect; I'm not stupid. I do understand that software updates occur and unbalance the game and it's hard to find every bug, but Stellaris is broken like non-alcoholic beer.. it's cold and tastes good, but then nothing happens... it's a big buildup for nothing but disappointment. I might wait for a few patches and try again, but at this point I would tell anyone who asked that this game had great potential, but turned out to be a waste of time and money.

6.4 user rating? You must be high. GRW is top rate in every way. The terrain is the best I've ever seen in any game. The combat and storyline are fun and interesting. Finally, some Sig hardware! The AI is great, your team follows you through complex terrain and never gets stuck. The bad ratings are probably due to the fact that people are used to being spoonfed from simplified shooters where they don't have to engage their brainpan. This one is challenging. Also, you should be aware: You have to learn to use your AI. In combat, be sure to tell them to shoot or they'll just stay defensive. You can also have them hold a position etc. Also, driving and flying with the keyboard is no good. Hook up an xbox controller to your PC then go back to kbd/mouse when on foot (first time I've ever been forced to do this, but I'm not complaining because it works very well.) The replayability of this game is enormous, I'll be playing it for years. Outstanding game!

It's hard to play a game when you stop every few minutes to look at the graphics and scenery. It's hard to stop and look at the graphics and scenery when you can jump inside the chest of an awesome killer robot and blow everything up. It's hard to give all the credit to the awesome robot when the storyline is so engaging and intelligent. This game exceeds my expectations on every level. Performs flawlessly in 4k with all settings at ultra. Not a single crash.

Once again, Deus Ex exceeds my expectations where storyline, detail, and science are concerned. Every dev team should put this much detail and effort into their games. With more than 20 hours in the game, I've not seen a single bug. The performance is really great as long as I'm not in 4k (they're patching later for DX12 and 4k performance). I'm getting no less than 60fps on full ultra settings (dual 980ti) in 1080. With that said, I think the micro transactions and day1 DLC are disgusting and I'm seriously considering never giving my money to Eidos or Square Enix again. It's a real shame. I scored it a 10 because we're rating the game here. If I were rating the companies involved it would be a 2.

DISCLAIMER: For you 0-4 rating people, if you want to be 'edgy' and 'different' by saying 'this game ****', you're not doing anyone any favors. Find another way to get attention. If you're giving it a bad review and saying 'you should get xxxx instead', this is not a competition. Again, you're doing no one a favor and people see you for the poser you are. With that said; I played the original Doom when it came out. I'm in technology and I'm a developer. The creativity and finesse this game was developed with are staggering. I don't really typically like FPSes or games like this. I've evolved to simulations and serious games. I have to say though.. this game is JUST FUN! Some aspects (like finding all the hidden areas) are seriously challenging. The notes about certain technologies and weapons are very creative. The levels are not ment to hand anything to anyone.. just like the original Doom. I am in no way disappointed with my purchase. I plan to go through the campaign again in the hardest setting.. God help me.

Superb! This is in the top 5 games I've ever played. I'm floored there are so many bad reviews. I sincerely believe that the people giving it negative reviews tried to play through it fast like any other game they've played in the past. I could see how the complex nuances would escape you if you went about it this way. As for me; I've spent a lot of time building my settlements up. There's a bar in each one with ceiling fans, jukeboxes, smokes a brews on tables, etc. I've researched and refined the best defensive strategies and employed the standard at each location. Each settlement is a creative masterpiece. Although I've sank a lot of time into that, I don't feel like I've skimped on questing and fighting. It's easy to put time into both since there's no time limit on quests and tasks. As for graphics I'm really impressed with the godrays and the artillery in particular. The story line is engaging and fun.. and these devs have a great sense of humor. Besides the very few bugs I've encountered (understandable for a game so new and so vast) I really can't think of how it could possibly be better than it is. I don't know if I've ever been so immersed in a game before, and I've been at this since the 90s. Bravo Bethesda!!

Anyone who says that W3 doesn't run well on their system is high. I'm using a 2600CPU and a 570VidCard and I get 60+FPS on Ultra settings (minus hair). The story line is superb, the graphics are cinema quality, and the combat system and immersion are top notch. This game really sets a new standard. I'm having a blast with it and I don't have a single complaint.

The most under-rated game of all time! I was on the fence about purchasing this game when it came out because of the user reviews.. WHAT A MISTAKE. People are pretty stupid. I need to read deeper into negative reviews in the future and make sure that the ratio of "expansive features" to "dumb end users" isn't skewing the user score statistic. This game is SUPERB! I love everything about it. My top 5 aspects: - Scary because if you lose a character.. it's just gone (no loading of saves) - Scary because you never know what's around the next corner - Fun because the story line is REALLY good sometimes - Fun because it's open world with lots of goodies - Worth my time because it's very dynamic.. huge replayability This is Skyrim meets Walking Dead meets Battlefield. Love love love it!

Revised my score to 3. No longer have confidence they can pull this one off.. even with patches and mods. The map system is unusable, the bugs are too numerous to count, and there's no easy way to manage my trade fleet. I gave it 3 points because the images of space are outstanding. It seems that there were some super competent people on space graphics and theory.. then they hired someone off the street to code the behavior of ships and the UI. I want to love it.. I really do.. but I just can't.

Mediocre graphics, but great voiceovers and cleverly developed storyline and mechanics. Immersive and scary in the tradition of DayZ, and you get to be Daryl -||| This wasn't a megadevelopment project by EA Games (hey look you weren't robbed!). Regardless, the graphics aren't notable, but they don't really detract from the game once you get into it. It is EXTREMELY immersive. The survival aspects are really fun. If you start firing a rifle in the middle of town, the hordes are coming for you and you're screwed.. this I've never seen in another zombie game! You can use stealth and cunning to more efficiently take zombies out.. it's kind of a sandbox in that you have tasks, but you are free to complete them however you like. Norman Reedus does an outstanding job of doing the voiceovers (sooo much better than what other actors have done in video games!), and his voiceovers aren't just in cut scenes, but also when he's killing zombies or gathering supplies. The storyline is consistent with The Walking Dead. This was done in collaboration with AMC, and was obviously written by the show's writers. Even if it wasn't so much fun, so scary, and so challenging, it's a look into how the Dixon brothers got where they were in Season1 Episode1... and that's some really sweet icing on the cake!

As a veteran of Aviation in ODS, I've always been a fan of the A-10. I've tried flying the warthog in other games, but it's always been too unrealistic and left me wanting. Immediately upon firing DCS:A-10 up, I noticed how awesome simply starting the aircraft was (click the switches)! After getting in the air and dropping some laser guided bombs and firing that Gatling gun strapped to the front, I was HOOKED. I wanted to create my own mission, but was worried it would be too involved. I was able to do it pretty easily and found that I had created my perfect scenario; chasing Russian tanks through a mountain pass and leaving them in smoking ruins. The campaigns it came with were challenging and fun. Since I started playing they've added even more content, and there's rumors that they'll have Nellis AFB maps where you can fly around Las Vegas! Beautifully rendered, absolute realism, intense attention to detail, true physics. I really couldn't ask for more from a sim. This is what I've always dreamed of. Future game launches will come and go... I'll be flying my warthog, oblivious to the world.
