The gameplay is a huge improvement from Valkyria Chronicles 1. Just adding 1 more class made a huge difference. Pretty much all the gameplay things added were great. And the squad stories were amazing too. I think the main cast is a bit of a downgrade. And the story… is probably on par with 1. But, I just preferred 1.

The story is what you’d expect from the phantom thieves. And for a spin off game, it is really good and integrates into the main game semi seamlessly. Some missions are top tier. There were 1-2 that just… you’ll know which ones if you play. They don’t kill the game. Far from it. But, it is enough I can’t give a 10/10.

This game is amazing. Both the gameplay and story are top tier. Some of the difficulty spikes are a bit harsh. But, I don’t think this harms the game. Rather, it makes you think and use the game mechanics to progress. Yeah, this game is a 10/10

Honestly, probably my favorite party game I have ever played. The questions are good. The way you can use powerups to get your friends. The questions are not like totally impossible and you get to pick your path. Honestly, I can’t give this game enough praise.
