In a world that is so filled with so much stress and anxiety this was a welcome escape and I hope they make another. Actually I would love a stand alone film with Sherlock and Holmes too! I loved it.

I enjoyed this film. I had been tracking its production since it was announced many years ago and was disappointed when Cate Blanchett dropped out of the project and was reluctant to accept Nicole Kidman in the lead role but she did a fine job. I'm quite familiar with the story and although they mix up timeline for dramatic purposes it still entertained me.

Hated this movie and stopped halfway through. Satire is supposed to make you laugh uncomfortably but this film was like being hit over the head with a hammer. **** GET IT! Waste of talent, waste of time.

It was mildly entertaining but what was the point of even doing this? The only good film was the first film all the rest is a giant ego stroke. Bored and disappointed again.
