Cuphead9

a couple of the late game "powerups" feel more like massive "power-downs" + the difficulty spikes (especially mid-game/Inkwell Isle 2) are all over the place, you will spend 5 hours on a single boss, followed by immediately pounding the ass of the next loser boss who has to follow them up. Besides that Cuphead is one of the greatest modern boss-rush games ever. Redefined the genre through it's iconic concept and artistic direction. Brilliantly designed fights, wonderful movement/controls, simple, yet effective story and the music is a ****' wash, absolutely brilliant. Truly, a once in a lifetime game. 9/10

Five Nights at Freddy's6

Plus: Sound design, Atmosphere, Art direction, Visuals, Camera system + design, Concept, Office system + design, easter eggs, loose (yet imaginative) storyline Minus: once you figure each animatronic's gimmick out by like night 3 every initially challenging game mechanic can be boiled down to keeping a single camera view on Foxy, listening to how many times Freddy laughs + checking door lights... Once you understand this loop.. **** is dry as ass, lame ahh mechanics fundamentally boring ****

Undertale9
May 12, 2026
Pros: Witty, borderline genius writing consistently across the games entirety, fantastic world building, incredible characters + arch's, one of a kind story, one of a kind mechanics, a visual direction that playfully teeters between gobsmackingly beautiful and quirky pixel art, phenomenal story progression.. nearly everything about this is a massive win and solidifies the Undertale experience as one of the greatest stories ever told through the medium Cons: 2 hour long Alphys character arch, less quirky than it is occasionally grating Strong 9/10

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga1
May 11, 2026
Pros: (I am looking for anything at all) Vast character selection, a couple of the cutscenes are funny (not like haha but like blowing a little bit of air from your nose), some characters control decently, a couple of the missions were almost competent/tolerable + Star Wars is always a good video game IP choice... Cons: Holy **** **** does this game stink like dookie wowie man, how disappointing. Loading into your save file is a pain in the ass as you have to skip through multiple cutscenes to start actually playing the game, the UI is horrendous... Maybe the worst UI experience I have ever had in a videogame period. You are immediately forced to engage with it as well the moment you load in, you are for whatever reason forbidden from navigating the UI with you mouse so you constantly are transitioning awkwardly from keyboard directional keys to mouse gameplay in 3d... what awful PC integration jesus... + the UI is simply a jumbled mess to look at and navigate... how did the Lego team regress simple features like this so far back in time it is devastating to the progress, general mechanical understanding and structure of the game... The environments and level feel completely empty. Oh wow, it's a one to one replica of the Jedi temple from the prequels... Cool! Oh wait, they forgot to put anything inside of it to actually play around with or explore... Around every corner in the collectable exploration of this game is a dead end that leads to nowhere, punishing the player for being even slightly imaginative. What a disaster. Looks like triple A **** too, dork ass realistic lighting engine for a **** Lego game. Remember when Lego games actually felt like looking at a charming Lego toy? Yeah that visual style & totally unique visual aesthetic has been steamrolled over by the need for "Realism" in a **** Lego game mind you. Controls are okay at best with characters rarely responding the way I intended especially when engaging with the various platforming elements of the game (of which there are many). Finally, the "Story Missions" are just Star Wars walking & breaking **** simulators with the occasional 5 minutes nothing fest of a vehicle level between them. **** ruined your Lego Star Wars IP, nice job moron. Mind you I only played through Episodes 1&2 of 9, would probably loathe this even more if i did, worst game of 2022.

Cons: everything abt this game is a pro I just wish the endings found later into the game were as consistently engaging and perfectly paced as the endings more readily accessible.... Also.... occasionally I found that citations (errors made by the player) were underexplained making progression through the games multiple in-depth mechanics trivial.
